This hotel is in a great spot, the rooms are clean, and the pool is nice, but the rooms are a bit weird. The bathroom is right by the door, and the bed is up on a second level with low, arched ceilings that are a bit dangerous.

Hotel is close to bus station which was super convenient for us. Hotel is on its own and feels just a short walk outside of town but still close enough. Some aspects of hotel were great and others felt old. The staff was great and helpful in giving recomendations. Borrowed an umbrella from reception which was nice. Familly run hotel it appears. Given 1 water bottle upon check in and that’s it otherwise have to purchase more from reception, was not provided one each day and can’t drink the water from the tap. Shower configuration was odd and water got everywhere as no glass in front. Had to pay 6euro tax at check out.

Great stay!

We had a pleasant stay at Astir Thira. Rooms are clean and it has a beautiful pool. It’s a 10-15 mins walk to Fira, which is a nice walk with the view of the caldera.

Very cute place. 5 min walk from the bus stop and even closer to shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was really good. Comfy bed but the shower had issues draining. Beautiful view of the volcano.

Convenient location

Nice location walking distance to town, but also on a main, busy and sometimes noisy road. Very responsive staff. Nice swimming pool. Room and bathroom (especially the tub/shower) smaller than we were expecting for the price.

The Astir Thira Hotel was just on the outskirts of town. This was nice because it made for easier access in and out of town. It was a very short 3-5 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before check-in and our room was ready for us which made it very convenient for us. The room was pleasantly clean and we had a nice view of the ocean off of our balcony. The only downside was that the main street separated the hotel from the balcony which made the room a little noisy during the day and early night. Later on at night it was relatively quiet. The room was somewhat small but this seems to be a theme when traveling in Greece. There was only a small hanging area for clothing and nowhere to put your luggage or other clothing. The bathroom area had no shelving for your toiletries and only two hooks for your towels. They would do themselves a favor if they installed more shelving in the bathroom and bedroom and hooks on the backside of the bathroom door. They also need a do not disturb sign for the rooms. The pool and surrounding area was very well maintained. Breakfast was included and was good. Staff was very friendly and always had a warm greeting. For the ladies who like to pack a hairdryer, there is no need to pack one if you stay here. My wife said the hairdryer they have is the absolute best she has ever used and is nothing short of amazing. We would easily stay here again.

Perfect stay!

I was a bit skeptical ordering, but expectations were better then expected! Looks kinda away from the centrum, but it was like 5 minute walk. The service is amazing! Really helpful with everything! Only thing to mention is insects inside, but I’m pretty sure they’re everywhere around other hotels tho.

The property was literally 5 mins walk into the popular town of Mykonos, where all the restaurant and stores are. The staff qre very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. The kids loved the pool cause it stayed open till 9p. The decor is a bit old fashion, to what you would see all over the island. The bathroom is very tight. I
