Very nice resort for a short get away. a lot of shopping spots and good scenery. The bar was nice but the food wasn’t too memorable. It does get crowded with locals and kids but overall it was a pleasant place.

I Am very un happy because I paid for a room at from of the beach, I one employer the name Emmanuel did not Wanted to give the room that I paid for and he send me to another room. After two days fighting they give the room that I paid. I don’t undentand why he want to stolen my money and give me another room. Also I have another reservation for my two member of my family with two bed and he give us only one bed. In conclusión I will not come back to that place

Premises have potential, but don’t go!! The hotel rooms have only two bath towels, no products, no hand towel, no tissues, lotion. Food options are limited to Dominican food only! One night it was all Chinese and it was horrible! The restaurant a a carte was Italian theme and it was horrible food! They might as well stick to what they know. Our room keys failed 3 times and had to replace daily, and two other rooms that our family stayed in! Place is too hectic and loud!! Very ghetto and dirty! They charge $3 dollars a day to use your room safe with a $50 deposit!! Insane! You have to leave a $20 deposit for a pool towel! And if you lose your resort plastic bracelet you have to pay $25 to replace it! I asked for late checkout for two rooms, one hour only, they gave me one room feee and said I would have to pay $20 for the other!! The mateessws do not have fitted sheets, it’s a sheer too small to tuck under, it’s ridiculous!! We will never go back!! Some staff is nice but others are so rude and have no manners!! Don’t understand how they have 3 stars! Their beach water stinks and it next to boats, so don’t bother!! I can keep going and going, we have stayed in many places throughout our vacations but this one is by far the worst ever!! It’s a total dump with potential because ground are nice but they want to suck you dry of your dollars! Please don’t stay here!

The staff and the amenities were amazing, they were all super caring and friendly as well as attentive. Area was very clean, one pool with activities during the day another pool with a stage and a night show and open bar till late. As well as snacks and drinks all day . Great stay 100% recommend

The food was good, the staff helpful and very nice, they didn't have show like other hotels every night, but they still have entertainment. The hotel is old, can use some upgrade but the overall experience was good

Beautiful beach and room was fine. Good water pressure and hot water, bed was fine, I slept well, AC worked well. Staff wasn’t overly personable but did their jobs. A good place to go if u just want to do your own thing, very little options for evening activities & very family friendly. Lots of locals

Okay first let’s start with the staff very rude they gave me a room I didn’t pay for then when I complained I received a lot of attitude then I was placed in a dirty room with a nasty dirty tub and smelly water with a dirty nasty sink I asked for the cleaning lady and after three attempts I finally got the tub cleaned. Had to practically beg for a towel soap and tissue the food was very bland and cold at most times. While on the beach I couldn’t even sit there and enjoy the day without being bombarded with people trying to sell me things I was harassed and when I refused they had the most disgusting attitude ever. Only thing I enjoyed was the beach when I did get a chance to use it. There should be a rule in place for vendors harassing people trying to sell their goods… I stayed there five days and housekeeping didn’t change my sheets not one time !!! I will not return or recommend anyone to stay at whala!!!

This is what I got for a bathroom simply disgusting!!!

We had to wait 5 hours to finally have maintenance show up to the room to fix the air conditioner the fridge the hot water the tv. They never fixed the issues. There was no parking available. Finally enough was enough and we left for another hotel. Do not waste your hard earned money on this dump.
