**The Check-In Experience:**
Upon arriving at the Dominican Fiesta at 5 AM, we were disappointed to find our initial room did not match the enticing photos. It had a stained carpet and an unpleasant smell, far from what we expected for our 18-day stay. After voicing our concerns, the staff offered us other rooms that were even less appealing. Fortunately, manager Solis arranged for a complimentary upgrade after I advocated for myself, resulting in a significant quality improvement. I also want to acknowledge the helpful bellboy, Thomas.
**Cleaning Service:**
The cleaning service could improve. We often received only two towels for three guests, and our complimentary water was not consistently replenished. I even had to remind the staff about toilet paper.
**Staff Interaction:**
While some staff members, like Solis and Thomas, were friendly, others seemed less welcoming. It would enhance the experience if all staff were more responsive to guest greetings.
I share this feedback to highlight areas for improvement, not to criticize. The hotel is in a safe area, close to many attractions, though traffic can be challenging. Moreover, the summer camp was a hit with my child.
With some adjustments, the Dominican Fiesta could enhance the overall guest experience significantly.
