I really like Blu Hotel, but when I booked the room, it said that it has a pool. There’s no pool in the premises. I had to go across the street to the partner hotel, which I thought it was false advertising… the service & staff were great.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days. Before booking a 2 day birdwatching tour to Minca, I asked the front desk if it was ok to leave my luggage in their storage room overnight and pick up the next day. They said yes no problem. Then when I checked out and wanted to leave it there, they said their manager said no unless I was staying there. That put me in a annoying situation...but luckily the tour company was able to keep it at their office in Minca. So, I am not happy with service because of this episode. Other than customer service, the hotel is ok.

Estadía satisfactoria

Acceso a la piscina del hotel Tamacá (que es genial) y a la playa a través de las instalaciones del mismo hotel. La ubicación es buena, tiene un Farmatodo al lado, un centro comercial (Arrecifes) a pocos pasos, un Acuario al frente. Las instalaciones tienen sus años pero están bien. Por mejorar el ascensor.

Buen hotel pero tiene cosas por mejorar

En general el hotel es bueno y bonito, esta vez si tuvimos algunos inconvenientes. El ascensor no funcionaba y nos dieron las habitaciones en el piso 4, hasta el próximo año lo piensan arreglar así que solicitamos cambio de habitación porque mis padres tienen más de 60 años y no pueden estar subiendo y bajando escaleras todo el día, nos cambiaron a los dos días. El desayuno considero podría ser mejor, es muy básico, solo huevo y dos tipos de fruta, podrían mejorar. Otra cosa a mejorar es la cuestión de toallas en la piscina, de 7 días, 4 días no nos suministraron toallas porque no habían lavadas, es muy terrible que un hotel como el Tamacá estén dando esas excusas todos los días. En general buena estadía, los empleados son muy amables, pero si deben mejorar muchos factores en el servicio ya que el valor de las habitaciones no es bajo.

Pasamos un muy bien tiempo, el persona es amable y lo mejor de todo es que tienes el acceso para ir al Resort Tamaca, dónde la piscina es excelente!

Hotel en condiciones correctas pero con falencias básicas para un alojamiento costero. El desayuno es definitivamente malo y no cuenta con restaurante ni room service de ningún tipo. La pileta y servicios de bar están en el hotel hermano, a unos 30 metros. Muy poco amigable.

Mejorar el servicio

El hotel es muy cómodo pero hay detalles importantes que podrían mejorar. No tuvimos agua caliente especialmente en las noches a pesar de haber hecho el reclamo. El desayuno es poco variado deberían tener mejores opciones y creo que en el tema del servicio podrían mejorar mucho en cuanto a la preocupación por el pasajero para saber si necesita algo extra o temas adicionales.

The staff at the actual hotel were amazing. But the photos are all of the other hotel. Please change them. Very misleading. Please add chairs to the beautiful balconies. Typically no hot water. The service at the restaurant in the other hotel was really terrible. They need to retrain the servers. Average wait time for coffee was over 30 minutes and dirty tables took over an hour to. Hence the bird were pooping everywhere because they wanted to eat off the dirty dishes that stayed there for an hour or two. The food for a Canadian and Mexican was terrible. Maybe fine for locals. Food served raw or completely not edible. But the actual hotel we stayed, staff were awesome!

Excelente atención en recepción por parte del personal, muy atentos y serviciales. En restaurante excelente atención por parte de Alvaro, lugar bien ubicado y de fácil acceso a sitios de interés. Lo único por mejorar o renovar el ascensor, de resto todo muy bien.

Es un buen sitio para estar. No hay diferencia del uso de las piscina y las instalaciones del resort cuando te quedas en el tamaca norte, lo cual es una ventaja. Lo recomiendo.
