"We booked this hotel under the pretense that the resturant was open for business and the taxi price rate was similar to the rest of Ecuador or the reviews in our travel book. Hotel served a nice breakfast BUT no other food is available so one must go into Puerto Ayora for lunch and dinner. The taxi rate to and from hotel into town can be anywhere from $10-$15 each way..... if u want to freshen up after a long tour that will be 4 taxi rides......$40-$60 per day. Lawrence offered us a ride...

"Super bel hôtel très charmant. C’est très propre et les chambres sont spacieuses. Le personnel est vraiment gentil. Pas très loin de marche de la Station Darwin et de l’artère principale d’Ayora. Les déjeuners sont très bons. Nous le recommandons fortement malgré le fait que le dernier soir, l’hôtel a été privé d’électricité. Mais ce n’était pas la faute du personnel de l’hôtel. Ils sont bien gérés la situation."
