The staff was welcoming and friendly. All areas of hotel were clean including our room. Property was well lit at night. Especially want to give a shout out to Katrina at the restaurant, she made our stay even better! Very attentive to everyone at the bar and for morning breakfast. She was very busy and didn’t miss a person in the bar. She stood out as a real “hustler”. Made us all feel like we were a local!

We originally planned to stay for three nights but ended up leaving after just one due to several issues. When we arrived, we walked into our room to find a puddle of water leaking from the refrigerator. It took two calls to maintenance before someone finally came to address the problem. Unfortunately, the noise from the room above us was constant — we could hear every movement, which made it nearly impossible to get any sleep. The WiFi was unreliable and basically unusable during our stay. The room itself felt cramped for our family of four and, to top it off, we noticed bugs. Additionally, a group of older women gathered right outside our door to smoke, and the smell constantly drifted into our room — it was really unpleasant.Due to all of these factors, we made the decision to cut our trip short and only stayed one night. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.

I would rate this about a 6 out of 10. Definitely not a $220 for one night hotel. Pool was gross - my kids wouldn’t get in it. The shower/bathtub were in bad shape. Definitely wouldn’t spend our money here again.

I would give the Sage a very high rating but unfortunately my room was infested with bedbugs and I suffered a few dozen bed bug bites all over my body. Therefore my experience and property condition gets 1 star. I dont care how good every other characterisitc was, I don't want to spend 2 weeks dealing with the itching discomfort of unsightly swollen bites all over my body. Discovered them after i checked out and called to let the front desk know.

The property is centrally located and ease for getting around town. What we did not like mostly was, if you do not request room service daily, towels and bedding go neglected by staff. For the price of these hotels per night room service should be automatic.

Don’t be taken in by the website images for this hotel. It is a solid hotel, but not as fancy as the pictures make it seem. The rooms are clean, but ours was musty. We booked because it’s a short walk to the Railyards which was great. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special.

The only thing I liked about the property was that it was within walking distance to the marketplace. The front desk was helpful. I did not like about 90 percent of the property; the rooms were very outdated, and the bathrooms were still dirty with hair and bugs on the shower room floors. Beds were very uncomfortable, and the rooms smelled of mold. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing because the gravy was still very cold; the only thing great about the breakfast bar was the coffee and water. We made reservations for two rooms with two beds in each room, but on the day of check-in, we were advised our number of beds could not be accommodated, so two people in our party had to sleep on the floor because they also did not have rollaway beds or a pull-out sofa. We will not return to this dump. Terrible experience.

Room wasn't very clean, residue and grime on bathroom counter. There was a 4inch sticky puddle on floor right in front of the fridge door and floors not swept properly. The AC didn't work very well, barely blew out air. The swimming pool is extremely small, especially with how many rooms are there. We were not able to utilize it as it was so packed. We also noticed that people from the apartments across the street were coming over to the pool as well. The parking is odd, as there were vehicles parked lengthwise in front of our motel room not in the standard pull-up in front of your room style. Therefore we had to squeeze between vehicles that were parked 3 ft in front of our door. Not sure how this hotel has such a high rating if the cleanliness of our room is their standard. Bed was comfy and water pressure was good.
