Room and staff were very nice and friendly, would have preferred much more interaction with staff when we were using the sun loungers I.e can I get you a drink etc. we also had to ask for our room to be cleaned rather that being cleaned as routine

Good place to stay

Good place to stay when in Bantayan! The ocean is just right there. It’s no frills but with million dollar view you don’t need the frills.

Besides the whole Jelly's Haven is beautiful, it makes it perfect because of the resort staff. The employees customer service was excellent. Special mention to Armando such a great bartender and also to Tina and Sci.

Oceans not that great it’s terrible. Foods are expensive. Rooms are not that clean. Staffs are simply. The only good that place are the receptionist….
You can’t enjoy swimming when the high tides come up only once in a blue moon. Too far from the resort where you are sitting lol. If you call the kids to come up they can’t hear you because it’s too far. That place only for retired people who.

The resort was nice! But the problem is the room is not that clean at all..The staff are very friendly. The ocean side is a lot of dirt they need to clean up that side because is not a good view for the people’s who check in their resort.

The room is fine, the staffs are good. Just the resort I mean the ocean in this resort is not good. 4 days staying I never see the ocean high tides. I didn’t enjoy swimming there. The restaurant is so expensive. You can’t get a visitors. In my part they only allow my visitor because I’m the only guest there. But I’ve been instructed that all my visitors can swim in low tides for only 3 hours hahahahaha the oceans are public right but they didn’t allow anyone to swim. If not their guest….. there’s sense at all.

The room was terrible since not properly cleaned had an asthma attack, the bathroom smelks of urine but the location is really nice , the beach is really good .

Found a huge cockroach in the room, very poor water pressure, bed very uncomfortable, only 1 pillow provided per person. Poor wifi connection, no house phone in the room Not worth the price paid. Staff are very friendly and accomodating though.

I booked 4 rooms. It was great that the hotel is right in the beach area. The restaurant had good food with plenty to chose. The room not impresive.The aircondition did not provide much coldness even if it was set in maximum. The other 3 rooms did not have a problem though. Only bath towels provided. We have to ask for face towels and hand towels. They only gave us face towels. No bar soap. The staffs were great.

Notre chambre était placée sous le gym, un boucan de fou. Nous avons demandé a la réception pour changer de place et notre demande a été acceptée sans probleme. En passant, faire un gym au dernier étage n'est pas l'idée la plus brillante du siecle.

We had a fantastic stay at jelly’s haven resort. We loved the quiet beachfront with its colourful lounge chairs perfect for relaxing after an afternoon of sight seeing. It was well decorated with lots of photo ops. The restaurant and bar had plenty of choices, note that the servings are quite big and you’re better off sharing a few rather than 1 dish per person. The staff are really friendly and helpful, bringing our luggage to the room and answering our questions. The beds were very comfy and we were happy to find hot water showers. Clean rooms and the universal wall sockets were handy since we forgot a converter. The resort is close to lots of the best spots via tricycle, which you can easily hail from the front of the resort. We had fun exploring all Bantayan has to offer. Only down side is there’s plenty of stray dogs that just roam around the beach and in the resort but they did not bother us or any other guests. Plus the wifi did not work in the rooms, could only use it the common areas like reception and restaurant. All in all a great stay!

Very clean property on the beach. They have all that you need for a relaxing stay. Not too far from restaurants but will need to rent a scooter or take other transportation. Staff didn’t seem very happy. Some were but make waitstaff looked upset to take care of you. Bartenders were great however and made excellent drinks. They do charge much more than average for everything so be ready. Even charged me extra for requesting an extra pillow. I did like that they bill your room for everything so you can pay one bill at the end BUT double check everything!! They seem to think .07 means round UP. So the bill will be inflated. Beach there is for relaxing but not swimming. Take a trip to Virgin Island for that. But don’t expect to swim at this beach. Overall nice place for the money . Just wish people smiled more and acted happy to have you there.
