I had stayed there the week before in a downstairs room without carpet and that room was better. This last stay was upstairs with a carpeted room and it smelt so bad. There were hairs on the bathroom floor and stains on the curtains. I’d rather spend another $50 and stay across the street. The staff was very friendly and wanted to accommodate us with a room without carpet, but they didn’t have any left.

We had a very nice stay overall. The room was very clean but could probably use a refresh at some point. Shower faucet was loose, needs attention. (room 134)

Always a great place to stay at a good price. Rooms are large and comfortable. Pool and jacuzzi are always nice. Breakfast treats are good. Sometimes can be loud and noisy…depending on how many guests are staying there.

The property and assigned room was very dated and worn. The connecting room next to mine was renovated and quite nice. Specifically, uneven concrete walkways, peeling pain on walkways, broken public area seating and a general unkept presentation of the building and grounds.There are also issues with the hot water system. Took 20+ minutes to warm up the water for a shower each morning. The staff were friendly and professional. Totally appreciated their service!

AWFUL hotel!! I can't believe we were charged $250 for ONE NIGHT!! That was the same we paid for a Westin Hotel in Costa Mesa!! Here is our feedback: 1) Dirty looking and smelling - our room smelled of mold and mildew 2) While they tried to remodel the rooms, you can't put lipstick on a pig! I think they covered the mold in the shower area with a new surround and did not remove mold issue first (not good for our health - thanks!) 3) the fire alarm went off every time we showered (a total of THREE times in 24 hours!). CRAZY 4) there was an inch gap under the door. While many hotels have this, they normally have interior hallways. This one went right outside so anything (mice, rats, spiders, snakes, etc) could just crawl/slither right in. 5) pool was ok but the whole area felt dirty and the swim towels were located outside the gated pool area (kind of strange) 6) we did not have the pastries and coffee in the morning because we could see the small cabana was crowded with people (some whom we heard coughing - so no thanks!) It is incredible that anyone would pay over $75 a night for this place. We stayed at 8 different hotels during out trip and this is the only one we were HUGELY disappointed in. DO NOT GO HERE! Yuck!

The room was clean, easy to park. Several close restaurants, but need to drive to....otherwise it was too dark to walk. Easy to park. We had an issue with our air conditioning - it broke after a couple of hours - we were able to switch to the room next to ours easily (they offered this solution).

Check in was very easy and quick. The staff who assisted us is very pleasant and professional. Lovely sitting area and the pool and hot tub were clean and we used both. Our room was very neat and presentable. We always have a good experience when we stay here.

The historic Pea Soup Anderson restaurant is permanently closed, in disrepair, and scheduled for demolition. The motel is showing its’ age and the area is depressing. The motel stall is very friendly and helpful.

It does not feel like a regular hotel. They have plenty table with fireplace to relax and enjoy your wine. (Bring your own wine) i would stay again

My husband and I brought our parents for a few days while we head to the bay to visit our daughter. As we checked in the front desk was amazing and very kind we even checked in early. As we walked to our room we saw how nice the property was. They have a putt putt area for miniature golf as well as a cornhole spot. The pool was very spacious and very clean the spa was amazing!the maintenance crew was very kind and always asked if we needed anything. We had towels for days!! They do offer free danishes and oatmeal for breakfast. If I could I would rate a 20👌
