Lovely quiet and relaxed old style small hotel in an old farmhouse full of character in the countryside just outside Sant Lluis and not far from Mahon and Es Castell. Staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming and couldn't have been better. The grounds are lovely with a couple of pools and gardens. The restaurant serves amazing food, full of local ingredients and lovingly prepared. An excellent place to stay for a relaxing few days, highly recommended.

When we first arrived it was late and on getting into the room we were a little disappointed; it’s very basic with no tea/coffee facilities and the mattress on the bed is extremely thin and hard. It was clean, but just felt a bit bare and tired - my partner likened it to staying at your nans house! However, we started relaxing into the place after the first day. The pool area is really rustic and special, and at times you could literally hear a pin drop around it. If they were to add a few little luxury touches to the room/bathroom it would make all the difference in terms of comfort and we just felt that at over £300 a night, it should have been a better standard. Including the toiletries as they seemed very cheap with the conditioner very runny, smelling of pva glue and not conditioning at all, so do remember to pack plenty of your own! All in all it was a lovely stay - the staff are extremely kind & courteous and we adored the relaxed vibe of the island.

Welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. The room was a bit dated but the whole hotel/farm house complex was relaxed and very nice. The gardens and pool areas were beautiful not to forget the odd tortoise wandering by.

Wonderful stay

Beautiful rural hotel. The setting was really special, tastefully curated throughout. The staff were really friendly. Other guests were very respectful. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. I am Gluten free and they were really accomodating. I would recommend to bring alot bug spray as there is alot of flies and mosquitos around the site, because of the rural location. Both pools were beautiful, clean and quiet, lots of sunny and shades spaces. The bed we found very uncomfortable but the staff were accommodating by offering different pillows on our second night. Would recommend and come again for sure

The gardens were beautiful and the wandering tortoises were a lovely surprise! Very peaceful and quiet around the pool. The rooms were incredibly basic, when we saw it was 4 star I expected a fridge in the room so was disappointed to see that wasn’t the case. Also, the breakfast buffet was highly disappointing as we were shocked to find the food uncovered with flies crawling all over the buffet items. This made choosing food from the buffet highly unappealing.

Charming and peaceful hotel

One of the best stays in the recent years. The location is quiet and peaceful, perfect for a getaway and disconnect from everything. The stay was memorable to the point that I already book a future trip in the following months!

Remarkably rural but close to Mahon

This is a delightful rural hotel, and remarkably quiet considering its position to close to St Lluis. The breakfast buffet was excellent, as was the service. The restaurant is expensive - we paid over 80 euros for a two-course meal with a modest bottle of wine - and there is not, unfortunately, a menu of the day. As a result we ate in Mahon or Es Castell, which are both close by. We liked the room, but the lack of a fridge was, we felt, a serious omission. Also lacking was a clothes drier, a useful thing to have for swimming gear if nothing else. We always like to have a walk before breakfast, but there isn't really anywhere to walk around this hotel except along the narrow, stonewall-lined lanes. The garden is a great place to relax, and you are bound to meet a tortoise or two. Apart from Sardinian warblers not many birds to see, but a peregrine did fly over one morning.

Quality meets delicatessen

The hotel itself is located quietly outside of Sant Lluís, interior design with taste, everything feels cosy. The room was really nice and spacious. I used the spa for a massage and barber service, which was great. The location is a good spot to start excursions from. The restaurant's staff is friendly and professional, the lunches, snacks and dinners at the hotel are healthy and very good. Great pool and hammocks acrosss the garden, hidden in quiet spots. If you need to slow down, disconnect and recharge: this is the place!
