What a beautiful resort! My room was comfortable, in excellent shape, and very clean. Housekeeping staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
The room’s location looking out on the pool was perfect as it provided easy access to the beautiful beach as well as to the pool itself and the pool bar. In addition, the resort provides comfortable chaise lounges both at the pool and on the beach. There are also several shaded hammocks located in the palm groves between the pool and the beach.
The food from the pool bar was excellent! The shrimp tacos are the best I’ve ever had. Isaiah at the pool bar was a delight to interact with, personable, friendly and extremely efficient.
Samantha at the front desk was also excellent. I spoke to her in person or interacted with her by phone several times. She was always friendly and clearly communicated answers to all my questions.
My only issue was that noise from adjoining rooms woke me up early on several mornings. My neighbors were not loud but you can hear speech or TVs through what must be rather thin walls. I would suggest ear plugs for light sleepers like me.
Otherwise, I highly recommend Sanibel Island Beach Resort.
