"Good bed, very quiet, and ability to check in late were positives. The check in with the lock code was a faff, including the need to ask for the code. The lack of breakfast was a major minus, the snack bar did not cut it really. There was also a strange man standing around and hover over my daughter when we were leaving, it really hit home the lack of staff. With the tired rooms, the place felt like a hostel more than anything, and I was glad to move on."

"The location is beautiful and the owner very friendly. We had one of the apartments, which is very spacious. The place is simplistic for a b&b. There was no provided soap and the shover door doesn’t close properly. This was disappointing. "

"We found this place by chance and were glad we did. It was lovely! Our room was very spacious and there was a common kitchen for cooking which we took advantage of as there was a grocery store close by (short drive but would have been walkable). Lots of character. The couch in our bedroom was a bit shabby but we spent our time downstairs visiting with other guest and the manager. "

"Great reviews so booked at short notice, wish we hadn’t. The room was spacious but had a number of annoying or safety issues. First of all the blinds didnt go all the way down leaving bright sunlight streaming directly onto the bed. The bathroom was awful after a shower, just like a skating rink. "The challenge in this hotel is the noise from the traffic on the highway close to hotel. Closing windows will solve it but hot summer days can be challenging because no air conditioning."

"The hotel was full of foreign workers and their cars took all the free parking space. The room was very basic but had one positive surprise. That is a fridge in the room for drinks or do-it-yourself breakfast etc. The room smelled like someone would have smoked inside and also there was limestone in the shower. I have been in motels and hostels that were better equipped than this hotel."
