We visited the hotel for a couple of nights to stay next to Cedar point. It was OK for the price we paid. Nothing wastoo bad or too good.

Our room was clean, except the inside of the fridge. The parking is not the best. The grounds are very well kept and all the plants are beautiful. Should have more big garbage cans around the property. Breakfast could use a little more variety. Pool was very well kept and maintained. Would definetly stay here again and would recommend south shore inn.

I rarely stay at same property more than once. This one is worth it! Love the care the independent owner has and takes pride in their establishment. The pool with two water slides and hot tub are nice and have great hours and are very clean!

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Close to Cedar Point but not loud (I was worried about that but ended up being pretty quiet). Only improvement I’d like to see is more protein options at breakfast: it’s all muffins and bagels, with hard boiled eggs the only protein available. Overall a great value and a pleasant stay.

Great location. Has a little pool and we loved the hot tub. Check in was quick, staff was very friendly. My only complaint was the shower heads are short, I'm 5'8 and the shower head was the height of my upper back, so you had to duck down to actually shower. But the shower was actually clean and had good water pressure, so it worked out just fine. We would go back for sure.

The outside is less assuming than the inside of the rooms. The rooms are clean and carpet is updated. The pool and outside picnic tables are a draw for families traveling with aport teams. Breakfast is offered, but was not a family favorite for us.

An older motel with an air conditioner that could have been a little more efficient. Getting colder air to the other side of the room was a little underwhelming, but still okay. Vending machine was out of order. Morning breakfast was okay. Plenty of pancakes with 2 automatic pancake machines. Yogurts, bananas, pastries, cereal, etc. No breakfast meats. Good coffee. Nice lady taking care of the breakfast area. Everything was clean, and the pool looked nice. After a big day at Cedar Point Ammusement Park, the location was nice and close. Beds were comfortable. Nothing fancy, just a nice room and a decent bathroom and shower.
