The property is a bit dated and tired. Our room had what looked like mold around the air conditioner and it smelled stale. There is only one washer and drier for all guests and the drier doesnt work very well at all; need to run it at least twice to dry anything. Overall it's not terrible but not great for the price.

The room was musty and wet. The carpet was wet the entire time. The bathroom door paneling was peeling because there was so much moisture in the room at all times.

We had to switch rooms right away due to stained sheets that were on our bed. Once they took the sheets off the mattress pad was covered in hair. The first room had a moldy bathroom and drapes that were dirty. The second room was covered in a layer of dust. It looked like no one had bothered to clean it in months. This bathroom had a hole in the tub.

We stayed here while we went to Cedar Point. Decent hotel. Beds were comfy and the AC worked just fine. Staff was really friendly and the continental breakfast was much appreciated. Only complaint was that room kinda stunk like the carpet was wet? It wasnt but it snelled like it was. And it was only in our room we didnt smell it out in the hallway or common areas.

Do NOT stay at this property. Expedia should honestly pull it from their listings. Our room smelled like it had just been fumigated and there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector making us believe it had just been. The dresser fell apart when we tried to put our clothes away. The bedskirt appeared to have semen on it. The staff were less than helpful. We ended up leaving and not even staying. We were there maybe 45 minutes. My family was itchy and we all took showers as soon as we got to our airbnb that we thankfully found last minute. Still arguing over reimbursement. They said we had to pay for 2 nights although Choice motels says only 1 night because that is the no-show fee. Everything there is broken/dirty/stained and the staff could care less. We chose this place for the free breakfast because we were there for a week, however, even if we would have stayed, I would have not eaten anything prepared at this place. I wouldn't even swim in their pool. I am 47 and have stayed in multiple hotels/motels throughout the country and I have never left a place - it is really that bad. Choice motels and Expedia should be embarrassed to have this hotel listed with them.

Our room had a funny smell to it, but didn’t put it down because of the smell, because it wasn’t even that bad. The breakfast was great, the service was great, and check in and check out was made easy for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well, they made just the one night stay for my family very nice. We stayed here after a late night at Cedar Point, and was going back the next day. We would totally stay here again, and we have a season pass. I highly recommend this place for anyone to stay, long or short duration. Thank you

Hotel was tolerable but wouldn’t stay again. Drain in shower was clogged and water didn’t drain well. Pool water was way too foggy and way too hot in pool room. We also found spiders a couple times and an earwig.

The morning breakfast was awesome! They have a waffle station where you can pour batter and make your own big waffle or four mini waffles. My kids loved that. They had sausage patties and eggs. A toast station with peanut butter and butter and jam and some cereal selections and a nice coffee station. The indoor pool was what attracted me to this hotel but when I took my kids the room where the pool was smelled humid and musty. And the water was ice cold. The blankets in the room were itchy and very thin. The staff was nice. The snack store at the front desk was reasonably priced and had a good selection. In walking distance to a gas station, dispensary and restaurants so that was nice if you don’t have a car while traveling.

Gave our daughter and grandchildren a weekend vacation at Cedar Pointe. Booked Quality Inn in Sandusky for their stay. They decided to leave right away when they noticed the room to be dirty with a foul odor. Swimming pool which the kids were eager to use was described as cloudy, dirty which prohibited them from using it. Staff at the front desk were not accommodating at all! Didn't even offer to move them to another room. Terrible hotel!!!

Bathrooms were not clean. Feces on the toilet. Toilet paper wads in thr shower. Called ahead to link reservation was told we had the rooms and then ome was given to another guest. Management attempted to upgrade and then after offering the room took it back as it was not available for the following night. Shower did not work properly. Bug on the floor and still not vacuumed even after asking dor housekeeping service.
