A pleasant stay
Owner was there to greet us, was very friendly & able to answer any queries we had about our stay.
The apartment was very clean & tidy, it was a cosy apartment almost like a home from home.

I had the pleasure of staying at Parterre Self Catering Apartments 28 years ago, and I was delighted to see that the apartments have been significantly upgraded since then. They were exceptionally clean, and the hosts left a lovely surprise gift for us upon our arrival. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I would highly recommend Parterre Self Catering Apartments to anyone. The apartments have everything you could possibly need, and they are conveniently located near the beach and local shops on the high street.

Parterre holidays rooms review
We can only comment on our room number 4. The room was very tired and we didn't like the carpets which were old patchy and sticky. Suggest changing them for wooden floors and rugs. The pull down bed was not that comfortable. The flow out of the shower was poor but water was hot.Everything listed in the room was there but would not say this was 4 star. However we enjoyed our stay.

Apartment 5 had a good sea view and all necessary conveniences were supplied.
There was plenty of heating, which during our stay was required because of quite inclement weather.
Free parking at the property is excellent and the shops of Sandown, the beach and numerous restaurants are conveniently close.
Only real gripes are that the carpet throughout this particular apartment has seen better days, and the deep red colour of the bedding didn't exactly inspire and was suspiciously non-cotton, but I cannot confirm that.
However we would still recommend this apartment for a short stay.

A lovely place to stay
Our stay was fantastic. The location is busy, but lovely with a very short walk to the town and the beach. The owners were very accommodating and helpful with all the parts of our stay.
The property was well maintained, clean, and nicely furnished. The décor gave it a relaxing atmosphere. It had everything I needed in self-catering accommodation - sofa, dining table, chairs, TV, electric fireplace, oven, hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, teapot, cutlery, crockery, cooking pans and trays, fridge freezer, clothes horse, plus of course the bedroom and bathroom. Nice additions were the books and jigsaw puzzle for the evenings.
If was nice to be near the sea and not have loud seagulls. Road noise was more than I expected.
A wonderful warm welcome from the owner who showed us to the apartment. Service was outstanding! The apartment was the cleanest self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. The apartment was very well presented and had everything we needed.

Convenient location, Extremely clean, Spacious, Friendly, good parking we will definitely stay again.
We stayed in apartment 6, a really spacious, well arranged apartment with everything we needed available. Bit weird that we had to empty our own bins and an electric meter to pay for, but £2 over our 3 nights wasn't breaking the bank. The couple owning the apartments were lovely and very accommodating. The rooms were beautifully decorated and all very new looking, well kept. Would definitely recommend to others, and would probably come again next time we visit the Isle of Wight. Thank you for a great experience!
Great self catering apartment, close to Sandown centre, where there are plenty of good restaurants. Ideally placed for travelling to other IOW tourist spots without too much hassle.
Great place to stay at. Very easy to find when coming in with car and a wonderful reception. The apartment was very nice and clean with a homey feeling. The only slight downside I can see is that the 10 minute walk to the beachside easily becomes 20 minutes with a 4 year old, but thats easily fixed by bringing a stroller... So overall we are as close to fully satiesfied as you can get.
Clean and well presented. Perfect for 3 people (which we were), 4 would have been a squeeze. Weather over Easter weekend was rubbish, so it was great to be able to come “home” after a day out and just chill. Pub down the road (The Castle) was first class - wide range of real ales, pleasantly busy and genuine clientele.

We booked this apartment last minute for a duration of just under 3 weeks whilst temporarily working in the hospital. We were offered an upgrade due to the length of stay and we were made to feel like this was our home. The apartment was lovely with its own private access. The only negative about it is that you have to top up the electric meter with pound coins (not included in the price). This wasnt so bad if we kept jumpers on in the apartment (it was winter).
