Bad facility, good service

Room not propperly cleaned and no hot water. Pool half full and dirty, som broen planks around the pool. Food was really bad not fresh or warm.

Un hotel totalmente decadente. No se corresponde para nada con las fotos que aparecen. La piscina más bien era una charca sin poder bañarse. Las habitaciones y baños en mal estado. Personal atento pero no servía para mucho pues no podían hacer nada. Comida escasa y poco variada. Nada alrededor.

Good cheap hotel for one night stay

Pro : - The location not too far from town - Hotel staffs are friendly - very satisfied with the breakfast. the food was good. it was perfect. Cons : - I don't like the position of the air conditioner as it was located far from the bed and there's a panel that blocked the airflow. - Internet connection is too slow. Please upgrade.

Prima prijs/kwaliteit

Taxi nodig om in centrum te komen. Maar dat zijn de kosten niet. Wij waren de enige gasten maar het personeel krijgt alle lof. Zo behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Kamer was prima voor de prijs.

Not up to par

I stayed here with my family during the week of Christmas for 4 nights. The first night we stayed in the standard room, which was small but decent. We later got upgraded to the superior rooms. I would definitely recommend the superior room over the standard room. A few things bothered us: 1. The pool was constantly closed for various reasons. It was closed about 50 of the time we went to swim. Not cool when you have two little kids. 2. The first morning there was no breakfast buffet. We were told that the "chef" decided this that morning. We could order ala carte, which was a choice between two noodle dishes. We showed our disapproval and all of a sudden could order an American breakfast. The hotel manager seemed to have no idea that the chef had decided any of this. Additionally, their lunch and dinner menu are not as printed on the menu. We were told that a whole page was unavailable. 3. There's no shop at the hotel as advertised. We were told that is under construction. We had a car so the fact that the restaurant and shop were lame wasn't that big of a deal to us. Even so, I was expecting to eat at the restaurant, swim with the kids, and buy snacks at the shop. None of this was possible. Most of our complaints were met with some sort of excuse. Shop under construction. Not enough guests to warrant a breakfast buffet. Chlorine levels too high in the pool, oh wait we just checked and their fine. All this made the trip less enjoyable.

Fint hotel med pool uden for centrum af Sandakan, Man skal tage bussen ind til byen for at få noget frokost eller aftensmad. Maden til morgenmaden var a la carte og var ganske god; vi spiste den lokale morgenmad, nudler og ris, og det var lækkert. Man kan få udmærket frokost i hotellets restaurant.. Værelset og badeværelset var ret fint og meget behagelig sovetemperatur, hjulpet godt på vej af aircon. Receptionen havde lidt svært ved at forstå alt hvad vi sagde, men efter et par forsøg gik det. Internettet virkede ikke ret godt, ret frustrerende! Hvis hotellet havde ligget i centrum havde det været perfekt. Mest af alt fordi der ikke er noget spændende i gåafstand.
