Really lovely place to stay in very beautiful setting. Whilst there is a breakfast offering there is no restaurant and there are limited grocery stores and restaurants in the immediate vicinity so a car is essential for longer stays. There is a Kitchenette for self-catering. If you are looking for a quiet place in a stunning setting - cannot be beaten.

This is a gorgeous property. However, it has no eating amenities other than breakfast, which was very good. No railing on pool stairs. But it was worth it!

Disappointing

My overall experience is disappointing. First of all my booking said: room with balcony, but I didn't get any balcony... The checkin was not so good, I was told they will send me a whatsapp when the room was ready and I never did. I activated my data just for that! Around 5ish I decided to go to the reception and ask if my room was ready since I didn't receive the message yet. The same lady that told me she will send me a message says: yes is ready, you have the key no? She clearly forgot to send me the whatsapp and instead of recognising it and apologising she got defensive. Also the experience I got when having breakfast was not so pleasant, the lady working there was clearly not so happy about her job and didn't have a problem sharing it with the clients. The 2 days I was there I just heard her complaining about how much work and that she had to do the rooms after breakfast. I was on vacation and I just wanted to relax, hearing someone complaining about the family business during my vacation is not what I was looking for...

Cala dell’Arena non è un hotel è un pezzetto di paradiso incastonato nella bellissima cornice di Macari. È una bellissima villa ristrutturata con un giardino molto curato, la colazione al mattino è buonissima ed abbondante, il personale è molto gentile e cordiale. Le stanze sono grandi, il bagno è ristrutturato e spazioso e dai balconi delle stanze si può ammirare un paesaggio incantevole. Il parcheggio privato è molto comodo e sicuro. Una nota di merito alle signore della prima colazione, Federica e Caterina, che sono state gentilissime. É il posto ideale dove rilassarsi per ricaricare le batterie: ha una bellissima piscina ed è vicinissimo alle calette di Macari dove si può ammirare il Monte Cofano e la natura incontaminata. Inoltre, il centro di San Vito Lo Capo dista solo 5/8 minuti in macchina, altri bellissimi borghi della provincia di Trapani come Erice, Segesta, Scopello e la Riserva dello Zingaro sono raggiungibili in meno di un’ora. Grazie a tutto lo staff, spero di riuscire a tornare.

Residence con piscina meravigliosa

Ottimo residence in un antico “baglio”. Il punto di forza è certamente la piscina, circondata da rocce, bouganville, cactus, banani e palme: davvero una delle piscine più suggestive in Sicilia. La colazione è anch’essa ottima e super-abbondante. La spiaggia si raggiunge anche a piedi (per chi non ha paura di percorrere un km) e si trova nella bellissima spiaggia di Santa Margherita.

La struttura molto bella e collocata in un scenario veramente suggestivo, tranquillo. Il parcheggio facile ma praticamente al buio. Poco illuminato anche l'ingresso. L'accoglienza buona, la collazione buona ma potrebbe osare di più. MA LA COSA CHE TI FA DISPIACERE E CHE L'ACQUA CHE ESCE DAI RUBINETTI DEL BAGNO È SALMASTRA. INACCETTABILE. Capisco che la zona è carente di acqua, ma allora se vuoi riciclate l'acqua, fallo bene. Non puoi lavarti con l'acqua che sa di sale.

C'è da dire che sono stato ospite in un periodo tranquillo (seconda di settembre), molto silenzioso e tranquillo. Tramonti indimenticabili. La colazione poteva essere più generosa pur senza sprechi per 10 euro richiesti. Ma va bene. Contentissimo.

La struttura è spettacolare, incastonata tra le montagne , nel pieno rispetto del contesto naturalistico e con una vista mozzafiato sul mare. Molto tranquilla , silenziosa e ben curata. A piedi, anche con bambini, si raggiunge facilmente la spiaggia.Logisticamente è in un ottima posizione, lontana dal caos ma allo stesso tempo comoda , 10 minuti di macchina, ai servizi.
