Our three-night stay at Lina Point Resort in San Pedro was extremely disappointing.
The Honeymoon Suite CONCH (we were celebrating 15 yr anniversary) is tired and poorly maintained. Bamboo ceiling trim was missing, paintwork was mismatched, the toilet wobbled, the TV malfunctioned, and WiFi instructions were outdated. The guest book listed a manager who had left months prior. The LR sofa was outdoor furniture, cushions were ripped and covered with a bed sheet. Loose screws protruded from bamboo fixtures. The kitchen sink was heavily stained and appeared dirty.
“Continental breakfast included” was misleading — it consisted of toast and jam with coffee, while juice and other options required extra payment.
When we politely raised this, the manager responded irritably and dismissed our concerns. Minutes later, her husband (the owner) came to our room accusing us of threatening her and aggressively confronting us. No threat was made by us. There was no apology — only a lecture about culture and gratitude.
The AC worked and the views are beautiful, but the hospitality and units condition was unacceptable. We cannot recommend.
