Great Stay!

Fantastic well run hostel with helpful staff. The rooms are great, large kitchen to cook your meals, 3 private bathrooms/showers and a great lounge area. The location is walking distance to the main strip of San Pedro! You’ll also have a great view from the hostel of the mountains!

Bom hostel

Uma propriedade simples e de muito bom custo benefício. So que com as paredes finas que dividem o quarto, se perde o conforto e ate um pouco de privacidade. Acho que para pessoas sozinhas que nao fiquem no quarto privativo sera uma excelente experiência. Para o quarto privativo, é razoavel a bom.

Excellent hostel in San Pedro de Atacama

Hostal San Pedro is a nice place, I plan on returning early next year. The owners are very friendly, the property is kept clean, it's a secure and safe place. The shared kitchen has everything one needs to cook, the property has some common areas to relax or eat in. I appreciated that our room had a small refrigerator. Everything is within walking distance - less than 5 minutes to the bus station, 10 minutes from the main area where all the travel agencies are.

Quebra galho, não recomendo.

Eu infelizmente não recomendaria o Hostal San Pedro. Parte boa: O dono e a pessoa na recepção foram muito gentis. O checkin e checkout foi bem rápido e flexível. Localização. Todos os passeios e transfers tiveram facilidade em me buscar e chego em Caracoles em aprox. 5 minutos a pé. Vista relativamente legal Quaro privativo Parte ruim: Wifi péssimo. Só funcionava em horários em que ninguém estava usando e meu quarto era do lado da recepção onde o modem estavam. Chuveiro não esquentou praticamente nenhuma vez Pedem o banheiro limpo mas nunca deixavam nada para limpa-lo. No primeiro dia tive que pedir um rodo na recepção. Tomada do lado contrário da cama Meu quarto era o 1, de frente pra rua. Muito barulho da recepção e das pessoas sentadas nos banco da frente. Enfim, eu reservei em cima da hora, faltando poucos dias para a viagem. Me custou aprox. R$ 650,00 para 6 dias e honestamente, por este preço, não acho que compense. Acho o mínimo que um hostel deve ter é um banheiro que atenda as nossas necessidades. Tomar banho gelado 05 da manhã antes de ir para um passeio, não foi agradável.

Razoável

Pelas avaliações do hotel que vi aqui e em outros sites, eu esperava mais. O preço é bom para os padrões de San Pedro, mas as acomodações são bem razoáveis. Fiquei em um quarto privativo de casal, que é confortável à noite, de dia quando faz calor é muito abafado e o ventiladorzinho que tem não dá conta. O banheiro não é nada bom, o chuveiro não esquenta direito ou às vezes esquenta demais, parece que não tem meio termo. No dia que cheguei fui tomar banho à noite e me arrependi, pois a água não esquentava de jeito nenhum, e como lá faz muito frio à noite, foi uma experiência péssima! Outro ponto negativo é que teoricamente deveria se fazer silêncio após às 23h, mas como não tem nenhum funcionário no hostal, o pessoal fica conversando alto nas áreas comuns e atrapalhando o sono, pois como as paredes dos quartos são bem finas, parece que as conversas estão dentro do quarto... e é muito chato, pois muitos tours se iniciam entre 4 e 6 da manhã, então uma noite boa de sono para acordar no meio da madrugada nesses dias seria essencial. O pessoal que trabalha no hostal é bacana e lá é oferecido aluguel de bicicletas por um preço um pouco mais baixos do que no centro da cidade. As bicicletas até que são boas, mas os freios estão em péssimo estado de conservação. A localização é muito boa, bem perto da Caracoles, a principal rua da cidade e também do Terminal de Ônibus de San Pedro. Também tem alguns pequenos mercados e restaurantes nas proximidades que quebram um galho.
