The staff and restaurant were excellent! Staff is friendly and helpful! Food was really good! Rooms were nice and clean! The neighborhood is in feels sketchy, though in guarded enclave! Definitely a young crowd vibe and less appealing for older demographic and families with young children!

The check in was easy and friendly and super helpful. The room was very comfortable and well decorated. It felt safe and secure. The restaurant and beach bar was very nice. The beach there is ideal, with no highrise buildings in the immediate area. Clean!

The vibe was great! Worth the stay if you want to be on the beach with a good vibe, good music and good food. Room was nice size, clean, bathroom could have been a bit better. Overall experience was amazing! I would come back.

The hotel is super close to the beach, staff was super friendly. The only complaint is, that to sit in the dining area we had to meet a minimum 2-3 a day.

Great apartment, staff are all super friendly. It was clean, quiet, and STEPS to the beach. (Street parking maybe an issue during busier times but was easy enough) Overall great place. We'll definitely come back. Thank You.

Better to Book Room in the Actual Hotel

The location was good, but it wasn't really clear in the ad that these rooms were not in the main hotel that was directly on the beach, but rather a block away from the beach in a different building. That detail is sort of buried in the ad instead of front and center. In that sense, it felt no different from a vacation rental. The room was clean and spacious and the area felt safe and secure. The magnet-locked gate did not have an gate-release button in the courtyard and they only gave us one electronic key fob, which made it complicated to exit sometimes. The beach towels they gave us to use were really nice, but the service at the restaurant was really slow. Overall I thought the price was a bit high for not being part of the actual hotel. Value not so great in my opinion.

Apartments on the Beach provided us a clean, comfortable place to stay. We weren't able to stay long enough, unfortunately, to be able to enjoy it more.

Proximity to the beach was great. Everything else about the place was not so great. Run down, not very clean, bare minimum. The surrounding neighborhoods were pretty sketchy.

No water in shower and room hot.

No water in shower and room hot. They moved us for one day to cooler room then made us move back. The woman at the front desk was rude too. She didn’t want to accommodate us and made us move back to hot room. Also, Every time we asked for umbrella she said key was broken but when another staff member was there he gave it to us right away. One of the reasons I picked this hotel was for the umbrella and chairs that were supposed to be included. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

A perfect stay

Great apartments located a few steps from the sand. They are well appointed, clean and pet-freindly. The property is located in Ocean Park, which is a bit apart from the big hotels of Condado, and thus more relaxed. Also the beach is better than the busier sector. I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for a great place to relax and enjoy the beach and the tropical sun. I may add that it is a short walk from a Walgreens and from Kasalta (a renowned Spanish bakery/bistro).

Family vacation

My family (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed in San Juan at the apartments on the beach for a week. We had a wonderful time and found the apartment and location to be perfect for us. Many restaurants within walking distance, beach was great and the staff at the hotel was wonderful.
