It is close to the beach ⛱️. The only thing that might be considered a negative is you need a car to get to everything. You need that in Puerto Rico period. It is a very nice clean place to stay.

Security was great and location wasn’t bad at all…it’s near San Juan district of stores and restaurants only 37 min away from luquillo beach we was comfortable and felt safe. My only issue was that when it heavy rained water started coming in through the walls. Besides that everything went smoothly and communication with the property management was on point.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS DUMP!!!! Parking lot is littered with paint chips and loose asphalt and tracks into the unit and your car Windows do not open anywhere in the unit The photos show a ceiling fan in each room and upon arrival there is no fans anywhere in the unit. We requested stand fans and they don’t have them. The advertising for the unit at 2318 calle cacique in San Juan is misrepresenting. We had multiple issues while staying here. My family came on vacation with our children. It was their first time on a vacation below I will put a timeline of the situation we had. We stayed here August 5th, 2024 to August 15th, 2024 ten days of misery with no accommodation from odium. August 7th we mentioned to otium that the toilet would not flush and was not holding water in the tank. (We should not have to take the cover off the back of the toilet to flush it.) they said it would be looked at. Finally on august 13th someone asks to enter the unit, my child was in the hospital overnight and we declined, they never followed up the next day mysteriously they must have thought it fixed itself August 11th we put in a request to have the air conditioner in the living room looked at because it was not blowing cold, (old outdated unit) which by the way you better hope it doesn’t rain hard because you will wake up to a puddle on the floor in the living room. Otium said they would send someone to look, nobody ever showed. We dealt with it. August 14th we got stuck outside the gate bec

This property should not be identified as a hotel. It should be identified as a motel. The beds are stained. The property isn't maintained. The pool is dirty and has algae. The walls are chipping. The shower has mold. The bed frame borders are all stained and very visible.

Not a great stay.

Had problems with digital lock upon arrival switched to another unit had no problem with lock. In 2 days switched to original unit again lock problems. Finally replaced lock no more problems. One problem solved another arises, no hot water in shower. Bathroom sink and kitchen sink had hot water. Was supposed to be fixed next day same problem that night no hot water in shower. Told they would check next day, to late I was leaving that day.

Do not stay here! The pictures online look absolutely nothing like what the property really is. The buildings look like there are completely falling apart. We couldn’t get our car in the gate and when I reached out about the issue I didn’t receive a response until the next day. By then we had already booked another hotel because we didn’t feel safe staying there. The pool was absolutely disgusting and there were moldy pool noodles outside the door of the condo we were supposed to stay in. The place is nasty, unsafe and the pictures are completely misleading. Do not book here!

The pool was not full or clean. It wasn't fixed until the third day of our stay. Even after it was filled and kind of cleaned, I would not swim in it. Also the shower did not drain so the water would come all the way out to the living area. It was a disaster! I was told that someone would be out to fix it but it was never fixed. Thankfully they had a shower out near the pool as that was our only means of showering. I was not given a refund and I would never recommend this property!!!!

Reservation for 5 guests but only 2 comforters. Futon in the living room was intolerable with pieces of wood piercing through the fabric. Community pool is constantly covered in debris and had a slimy dirty bottom. Not enough cups or dishes for 5 guests. Shower head is broken, pops off when water turns on and we were basically left to shower with a hose. Electricity went out 3 times on separate days, twice for several hours. There was no running water for part of one day. Lack of electricity and water meant we couldn’t cook, clean (the handful of dishes available), or do laundry. We rented a “comfort” apartment intending on cooking for ourselves but ended up having to go out to eat more than planned. When we contacted management about issues their only response was that they “care about your comfort and satisfaction” and that they were “monitoring the situation” but never actively did anything to assist us besides customer service type email messages. We sat in the dark watching the units around us enjoy the use of their generators and listened to the low battery beep from the empty apartment downstairs. When the AC was out we could not open the windows because there are no screens to keep out the mosquitos and lizards. Gated community the unit is in is a weird mix of newly renovated upscale properties, and abandoned units. This particular unit is significantly closer to the abandoned side. Would have left after 2nd night of 7 if we could have secured a refund. Not normal PR
