This location is SUPER, I mean SUPER, close to the beach. Great location. Very strong AC. Extra spacious second bed. Great water pressure. Don’t go to the roof!! —PS: watch out for the shadow people

This was the worst stay I’ve ever had, stressful from start to finish. The room we got the 1st day was not ready to host guests. There was no extra bed, no hot water, exposed wires, broken furniture. After a 30+ hour journey, 3 of us had to sleep in one double bed, I barely slept, and had to shower twice with cold water. The next day we got moved to another room which would accommodate the 3 of us but even after the move, reported issues with the bed and lighting were never fixed. As a result I injured my back which i’m still having issues with after a week. There were no basic supplies i.e. broom or bin bags to maintain hygiene. Communication throughout the stay was extremely poor. Messages were often ignored, and I was never given a phone number to speak to someone directly. We were offered a room refresh, which we appreciated and accepted, but no one ever showed up. On our last day, we woke up with no water at all. There was no prior notice, no timeline, and no solution until we spent hours chasing for updates all the while having to use our drinking water to flush the toilet and wash ourselves. When a temporary shower at another property was finally offered, it was handled in an unsafe and unprofessional way, with no clear communication about who’d pick us up or when. When we arrived 2 unidentified men were outside the room we were supposed to shower in, which as a woman made me feel unsafe. Overall the property was not ready to host, poorly managed. I DON’T RECOMMEND.

När vi kom fanns inget kylskåp, fick klaga och de löste det. Wifi uppgifter stämde inte, men det löste sig också. Balkongen var full med skräp och gick inte använda. Tar du lägenhet mot gatan så förbered dig på att det är mycket högt oväsen. Men tror de var i uppstart, potential att bli bra

I stayed here on my second trip to San Juan. The area is safe and tourist friendly. There are lots of nice restaurants nearby, like Bebo’s. The neighborhood is walkable, just beware of the craters in the sidewalks. This spot is 2 blocks from the beach, close to a pharmacy (convenience store), and it’s easy to catch the bus or an uber on the street too. There were no signs of vermin or insects. There were a few down sides to this stay, with the most glaring being that the pictures on Expedia do not accurate capture the space’s need of an update. I walked into a glass clock being shattered on the floor, which I cleaned up myself. I was only given 1 body towel for the week and had to request another. I think I should have been provided with at least 2-3 body towels given how often one showers in a place as warm as Puerto Rico. There were visible marks on the sheets and pillow cases; however, the bedding smelled of detergent. None of the TV remotes worked in the apartment. I was provided with a 3rd remote, and the TV still did not work. The Wifi name and password given to me did not match any available or discoverable networks, so I went without wifi for the week. There were dishes in the kitchenette but no sponge or soap provided to wash them. Overall, if you can afford something better, stay somewhere else.
