Great room

Room was great, as in the past. They continue to upgrade and make the property nicer. This time it was a little noisier than usual because of rugby teams staying and the check-in took longer. Also missed out on some perks. But bed was perfect and housekeeping was wonderful.

I purchased this stay for my 77 year old mother and her 80 year old friend, it was just perfect for them as they share a room and they have the casino at the hotel to enjoy as well, they came back home as happy as they can be, they say their room was great, very comfortable and clean that the staff was very accommodating to their needs and very helpful every time they had a question. They were a bit dissapointed they could not use the pool as it rain most days in the afternoon but they did use most of the facility and were very happy with all of it, even breakfast!

I felt that the service for an Expedia client was less. I was located right next to construction, my bathroom sink was clogged, when I arrived early they seemed to be willing to let me check in early until they realized I was an Expedia client. I didn’t complain about any of these things because I had felt from the beginning that I was not going to get the normal service. I could be wrong about that however. I just tolerated the noise and the clogged sink. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Overrated, SEVERAL issues

Was not informed of a visitor policy in advance of receiving the keys to the hotel. Turns out You have to pay $20 for visitors, that’s not staying the night, it’s literally just to be in your room. The water temperature was Lukewarm at best in my hotel, even after I asked for maintenance assistance twice I was told that the temperature was as hot as it gets. This tell me the hotel very likely has low quality amenities to begin with. Had to literally contact the manger to get my room cleaned and service. I was here for 5 nights, my sheets were not changed until night 4. I keep getting the excuse that I was not in the room when the maids would come by, yet when I would call for room service I’d be in the room for hours and no one would show up. One of the 5 nights I stayed here the cable was out for legitimately 16 hours. There were roaches and dead beetles in the hallway. Last, they were in maintenance, so the elevator was borderline useless to get to my room on the third floor, it was quicker to take the stairs. One of the associates working here is named Angel, I felt he was genuine and attentive to the residents of the hotel. Probably the one bright spot as far as service goes. They sell this hotel based off the beautiful views of the beach and city, the hotel overall is very poor

The property itself it’s very nice inside. The pool and the Jacuzzi were very clean. The only thing that bothered me was that the Jacuzzi was not hard enough. I was very happy overall.

Been here for 15 years

I've stayed here for 15 years the problem right now is that there is a lot of construction going on and the main Bar area/ restaurant is closed. That being said the casino and bar downstairs was still open for food and drinks so that is good. The pool area etc. is still fine and the breakfast buffet is good.
