"Overall excellent. Only (minor) problem was that the first night was pretty cold, and there was no heat in the room. The second night the host provided a ceramic electric heater and that made the cabin very cosy."

Quiet jungle home
"Amazing quiet, lush spot surrounded by jungle. The rooms are separate from the living area, and from each other. Perfect for traveling with older tweens / teens / adults. But younger kids might be afraid to stay by themselves. The pool is beautiful and refreshing. Loved it!"

San Gerardo de Dota in particular is a place for those who love the quiet, nature, walking or bird watching. Even though I am not a bird watcher, I love the place for its tranquility and beautiful nature.

Great place to move out of daily base business and urgencies. Safe community, with friendly people. Easy to coordinate outdoors activities: ride horses, Mountain bike, etc.
