All was great, nice rooms and very nice staff. Location was good, not too far from the malecón. The only reason I give 4 starts if for the WiFi access. We had no WiFi and not reception inside the room. Other that that very comfy room with beach access 😊

No fridge & No Coffee. We have stayed here before and we enjoyed the stay. But as hot as it gets here, they should provide a fridge so we can keep drinks cold. Since they have a restaurant now, Guest will need to use the restaurant for cold drinks and coffee. However, its not always open. Do not know the price of drinks and coffee since it was closed when we stayed there.

Disappointing. San Felipe Marina Resort has a great location, but the property badly needs a full renovation. The hotel feels old, outdated, and poorly maintained. The furniture was worn and damaged, and the A/C units were noisy and struggled to keep the rooms cool. We arrived during 101°F weather and were first assigned a room with A/C in the living room but only a floor fan in the bedroom, which was hotter than outside. The second room appeared to be under repair, with the refrigerator out of place and several amenities missing. The third room was acceptable, but the bathroom mirror was dusty and smudged. The biggest issue was cleanliness. We found multiple dead roaches in the room and several live ones running around the bedroom and bathroom. Many amenities were closed, the pool area was poorly maintained, and the water looked dirtier the next day. There was no music, no bar service, and very little resort atmosphere. The front desk now shares space with part of the breakfast seating area, and breakfast and lunch are served in a small room that does not feel like a beach resort experience. The pool towels were old, faded, mismatched, and some were ripped. One towel looked like a personal towel rather than hotel property. The hotel entrance and exit areas also no longer felt safe or well maintained. The most disappointing part was the value. We paid nearly what we would at a quality 5-star hotel in the U.S., but received an experience closer to a budget roadside motel.
