We arrived and the floor we were place on was under construction. Loud music, banging etc. the room was so bad. Mold, broken floors, dirty, the toilet wasn’t attached to the floor, the sink didn’t work, plumbing didn’t work correctly, A/C didn’t work, fridge didn’t work. No clock, no phone in the room… I could go on but I was shocked for what we paid for this room. We asked for another room and were told none were available but if we left they’d refund the remainder of our stay (4 more days). We arranged with VRBO and they agreed to the refund as well but after leaving and settling else where PB Surf refused the refund. This room was not safe or livable. It should have been included in the remodels and not been rented. Absolutely disgusting in so many ways. Only benefit was the location.
Bathroom had so much moisture from no ventilation the walls and trim had mildew everywhere
Floors were chipped and cracked so you had to have shoes on all the time. The carpet was so gross it was worn to the wood and full of stains
More moisture and mildew. Seemed like there had been a toilet over flow

Stayed for 4 nights with my 2 adult sons and daughter in the double bed room. The staff was able to find a cot for one of the siblings to sleep on for an extra $10 a night that worked out great. Very close to the ocean but have to walk 2 blocks to get to the beach. Not a big deal since the walk way was always bustling with people and I like to people watch. They have a pool but it was at their sister hotel 1 block away. That wasn’t mentioned on Expedia or at least a didn’t see it. Regardless, we didn’t even go to the pool because we were at the beach everyday. Parking was fine except one night I had to find parking on the street because spots were all taken. Not a lot of time spent in the hotel except to change clothes and sleep. All and all we had a great time!

Great access to the beach. The room was clean. Everything was good. The lady who checked us in and out at the front counter was amazing. The parking was great. We parked right next to our room and kept the spot all three days. You could see the beach from the upstairs balcony. The bathroom is small, but so are we so it was fine. For the price, we were very pleased. I have to mention the pool. It's at their sister property one block away. Very basic. Small, no spa, and not heated like they claimed. It was not open when we got there a few minutes after 10 even though the sign said it opened at 9. The lady at that front counter needs to take a lesson from the lady at the front counter of our Inn. She was not pleasant and acted put out when I asked to have it opened up. Otherwise, nothing but positive for the three days we were there.

Checked in and checked out within 20 minutes. Dirty, smelled of mold, roach in room. Moved to another room. Just as bad. Old, ripped furniture. Stained rug. So disappointed as it is in a great location. Couldn’t leave there fast enough.

Arrived to find the whole place under major construction. Was initially given a tiny room under the stairs next to the office, that smelled heavily of mildew and had banging from construction directly overhead. Was moved to a different room only after a long discussion with a rude and unhelpful staff person. The new room had less noise, but no overhead lights and only one small lamp, so had to use my phone light. On our second afternoon of a 3-night stay, we found there was absolutely no hot water. Let the staff know and they said they'd send someone to fix it. It was not fixed until the next morning, but was out again by that evening and never fixed, so we had to take ice-cold showers. Additionally, the advertised pool is not on or even near the property; it's a block away. The room was also never cleaned or serviced during our stay, so we had to go ask at the desk when we needed towels, toilet paper, coffee, etc. Overall, this was a deeply terrible stay at a very high price point.

Stayed here recently and had a great experience! The place was super clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was even better than the pictures online. Everything you need is within walking distance—great food, drinks, and the beach just minutes away. Definitely recommend!

Steps from the beach! Huge plus! Family of four, we got a basic two queen room, which was clean. A/C worked well. Bathroom was small (not a big deal), but the shower was big, which is great. Water pressure great. My older kids enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard to chill outside. Not a big chain hotel, but they're clearly working on providing good rooms as I noticed a few rooms were going through a remodel process. Would stay here again.

Was pleasantly surprised with the room (104) - recently renovated with modern touches which was very nice. The exterior is dated and the parking situation is terrible. The hotel is truly in close proximity to the beach and everything.

They were renovating so that made it very loud, starting at 7am. Some of the other guest were loud as well. One night they let a couple with 2 German Sheppards stay at the hotel and they barked loud and often. Also the parking is not good. They have about 11 spots for the whole place. They have an overflow lot at their other hotel 2 blocks away. If you want a cheap hotel near the action and don't care too much about sleep, this may work for you.

Checked into an uncleaned room. Then had no parking, despite my parking pass. Then was checked in to a new room with a clean bed but the shower trickled and did not get hot.

So awful. Do not stay. Was ridiculously priced for what you got. The room stank, like seriously terrible smell. Location is good but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. I paid $390 for one of the grossest places I’ve stayed and I stay in a lot of hostels around the world. Don’t do it.

Our room smelled horrible as if someone puked, and then they over cleaned it with bleach, only a very small window in the shower to open, stepping into the shower it smelled even worse! We told the front desk staff, and after she finished her calls on her headphones in Spanish? Not sure if it was work related? Kind of awkward... but, she let us go look at the only other available room which was next to construction (like 10 workers hammering and banging around) walked in that room and it smelled just as bad... but more moldy/musty. We ended up leaving because we couldnt stand the smell of either room. The front desk girl was understanding and kind about it. Also no mention of the pool? Did not see it nearby? Also property very run down (I'm assuming that's why there's construction? Maybe they are remodeling?) But, i felt like the photos did not match what we saw/experienced.)

Everything is walking distance! The sea is literally a 5 minute walk away from the door of your hotel room. Our only complaints have been that the bed wasn’t as soft as we both personally like and they were renovating all the rooms next to us. But other than that everyone was super polite and friendly and we loved how close everything was. The room itself was very clean, easy to find everything and the sounds of the ocean were nice to hear at night. The shower was very spacious and anytime we needed towels they were very fast! Just overall very nice experience. Definitely will stay here again when we visit PB
