The Thompson Hotel was really nice well kept and clean only draw back was the restaurant on the 20th floor service was great but sadly the kitchen was extremely slow on both Saturday and Sunday evening however both night’s they comped us our food to make it right which was really nice!!

Just a short one-night stay, but everything went smoothly. Beautifully furnished room, fast elevators. Easy access to Riverwalk - walk 10 mins to restaurants and shops. The only little annoyance is that an adjacent property is under renovation and they start work early (before 8am). The other thing to know is that they only have valet parking (@$60/day) but you can park on the street for free overnight (6pm-8am) or in nearby public parking lots ($18/day). Didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but they have a bar/restaurant on the top floor that has fantastic views. Next time we'll have breakfast there. I'm a fan - would definitely stay here next time in San Antonio.

Not your typical boring hotel

Lovely room with plenty of space to spread out. Decor is unique and tastefully appointed - not your typical hotel decor. Loved all the amenities and extra touches - especially that there was plenty of light in the room and bathroom!
