Great location and cool digs! Walking distance to downtown, Alamodome, and great restaurants (La Frite, Guenther House, and Beau's Tiny Diner). We really enjoyed staying here and will gladly stay there again the next time we are in town.

Our room was a restored Bachelor Officer Quarters building, and was well appointed with a full kitchen, king size bed and a small office nook. Upon arrival we received a personal orientation from the hotel staff. Excellent stay, easy walking to dining and drinking establishments. We'd definitely stay again at our next opportunity.

Loud and uncomfortable

The place has paper thin walls and windows. You can hear every conversation of people walking by the room, every car door opening and shutting as well as every car that passes by as it is right by the street. A few of the windows are not even sealed. The wood floor has hollow areas that are a tripping hazard and the floor is not level with a noticeable slope from the living room to the dining/bathroom area. The heating and cooling system was good.
