「Nice place to stay for short visit.」

「Our second time at the Bay Leaf on our trip to the Andaman Islands. We found the BL to be a modern well run hotel and a good central location. We stayed in two types of rooms we found both to be of a good standard. Eg: comfortable beds, clean well maintained bathrooms and good AC/Fans. The rooftop restaurant /Bar is a nice place to eat dinner or enjoy a cocktail overlooking Port Blair, once again we found the level of service excellent. Probably the best accommodation we have found on this...

「What we did not like was that the hotel looked good on the expedia website but the reality was very different. The entrance was very depressing and at night was not lit at all. You needed a torch to find your way. Room was big but was not very clean. We even had an additional guest. A cockroach! The hotel is overpriced for what it provides.」

「We stayed there for one night but there was loud music going on on their terrace which they did not slow down the music even after I complained. The music went on till 11pm , I complained twice after that they stopped. 」

「I stayed at this hotel recently, and it was a nightmare. The beds were disgustingly dirty, with stains and hairs everywhere—see pictures. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful; they made me move rooms late at night, and the new room was equally dirty. I wasn't happy about it. They were making comments about foreigners in their language, which I found disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy sleeping in filth and dealing with...

「Room as okay and decent size but AC, hot water and TV not working, they admit they cut the cable service to save money. No amenities, lift not working, no staff at counter. They promised breakfast but staff woke up late and we had to get packed breakfast in a haste.」

「Very old rundown building, can't call it hotel. There is construction going on and workers everywhere, clothes hanging. Layout does'nt look like hotel. Room is very dirty, congested and uncomfortable. AC and hot water not working. Overall filthy place, not a hotel.」
