There's something that always calms me about the blank canvas that snow gives. It seems to turn the mundane into a beautiful mystery. In this case, a charming weathered barn that I'm sure could tell a few stories given the chance. There is major construction going on. The parking lot is an unpaved mud pit. Had to drag our bags through the mud to get to our room. Mud all along the paved path. Inside the room was clean, 4 stars, but the whole experience was not good. Wife couldn't sleep as the mattress was so uncomfortable. ...

I made a mistake thinking that the chair lift was for Park City but finding out later it was for Deer Valley so we had an additional 15 min drive to PC. We made it work and I learned there were two different mountains. :-)
