Sensational spot in the middle of Salzburg. It was a nice touch to have a glass of prosecco on arrival. The rooms were a good size, and the included minibar was also nice. Valet/Porter staff were also great. The only comment would be breakfast, which seemed busy for only one floor staff.

It was Okay and not anything special overall. The room was spacious with high ceilings - but weird setting with the toilet and faucet on opposite sides. My main complaint was that the pipes or some heating element made clanking noises all night and it was occasionally hard to sleep. Also, for the price of the room I’d have expected better furnishing. The free mini fridge refill was great. On Christmas Eve, the bar staff was pretty rude to me and my 11 year old when we came for the restaurant without a reservation - perhaps they didn’t think we stayed there. It seems the restaurant is very good. Overall, it was a pretty blah experience. I’d suggest staying near the station (save some $$), or stay at another place near the old town.
