We were not aware of this until after the free cancellation period was over. There is no mention in the listing or confirmation that the passport would be the only document accepted. 「Room was very clean but this third party check in is for the birds. Foreign country / no available internet to look up info. Thanks to a lovely shop owner we were able to contact the host. He said he didn’t receive my info but I had sent it. What happened - who knows. So I had to resend it with the help of our wonderful shop owner friend! More to the story but I just want to forget the awful experience!」
