Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. 「Charlestown was lovely but Room 4 we was allocated was way too small it was Ok for a night or two but would try the pier if visiting again as didn’t think the cost matched the room size definitely would not want a week as way too small. 「The Waterwheel Inn was exceptional. We had a garden suite which opened straight out onto the amazing gardens and a small double room. Both were decorated nicely and kept clean. Breakfast was served in the lovely conservatory and was excellent with good choices and nice touches like home-made jams and granola. We ate in the restaurant for dinner several times and had great food every time. Staff were helpful whilst being unobtrusive. Our only suggestion is to advertise the vegan options better as...

「The Blue Lion is ideally situated for a stop over when making a long journey to Cornwall. The room was well equipped and comfortable. There is some traffic noise from the road, but that did not spoil our one night stay. The staff were welcoming and the locals were friendly. The evening meal was excellent. I would stay here again if travelling in this area.」

「The Pack Horse is a lovely old pub with friendly staff that were most helpful. We stayed 1 night, the room was comfortable and was ideal for our stay. They also provided plenty of tea and milk which was a bonus. The only downside is they do not do food but there is a fish & chop shop or takeaway that you can order and bring into the pub to eat.」

「The Inn was comfortable and there's a car park nearby. There's a pub at the ground floor and another one opposite the inn. A supermarket is about 100-200 feet away so it's quite convenient. You can reach southern Devon's costal attraction within an hour's (by car). A natural reserve is also very close.」
