Overall it was okay.
One thing to note is that the trail goes by so close to the motel so if you are sensitive to the noise it may be hard to have peaceful sleep.
Good basic accommodation. Nearby trains could disturb light sleepers, but I loved the sound. Five minute drive to a sandy beach and good swimming in the lake. Great breakfast restaurant 5 minutes away.
Humble little motel that delivers what it advertises. Nothing fancy here just a room and a bed with good shower and AC. All I needed for the week. Well done.
Very accommodating and polite manager. Properly maintained with beautiful willow trees, plenty of sitting areas and a BBQ. Loved the style and setting. Even the trains going by across the street were entertaining. Local kitty cat is also so cute and friendly. Please pet
Older motel, but very clean. Be aware that it is right on the train tracks and can be quite noisy at night. Also motion detector lights that go on and off outside all night. Quite distracting and unnecessary. It’s a good no-frills place to stay for the Price.
Very nice staff. Fairly run down motel, directly across from an active rail yard (loud). Rooms look like they’re from the 90s or before. Beds are sagging in the middle, with bedding that appeared very old. If they added some new beds/bedding it would likely make a huge difference.
The bathroom, toilet, and sink were clean, and the sheets were fresh as well. It was a good place for an overnight stay. We arrived late and left the next morning, and everything met our needs.
