Breakfast was poor. They only had eggs and sausage and biscuits. The eggs were fake. The sausage was extremely thin and not very tasteful, and there was no gravy for the biscuits. Additionally, the toaster was broken. The butter appeared to be stash or old and the coffee was the worst we’ve ever had from a machine. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The cleaning people were good. The laundry room equipment was not very well maintained and the clothes dryer did not dry clothes completely. I would say it was good for a one night stay; however, we were there for five nights. Probably would not stay there again for that length of time.

I had a confirmed reservation at this hotel two days ago and was treated in a completely disrespectful and humiliating manner by the receptionist. Because I did not have the deposit available at that exact moment, instead of handling the situation professionally or offering options, I was abruptly told to leave the property and “find another place.” The situation escalated unnecessarily to the point where the police were called, even though I was calmly speaking with the company’s customer service at the time. As a paying customer with a valid reservation, I felt degraded and dismissed. There was a total lack of professionalism, empathy, and proper customer service training. I travel frequently and have never experienced such treatment at any hotel before. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I hope the company reviews this incident seriously and provides better training to its front desk staff to prevent future guests from being treated this way.

They would not let me stay because my ID was from NC and I live in WV now and just came back for a doctors appointment. They said they do not allow locals to stay at their hotel. Even when I explained that I haven’t had time to get my ID updated and your website refuses to give me a refund for this because the hotel told me I had to give them $200 in cash if I wanted to stay which I did not have and they refused to put the fee on my credit card. I will no longer use your site for any travel plans or quality in for any stays. I had to pay for another hotel which told me it’s illegal for them not to allow me to stay because my ID says I’m local.

Check-in staff was less than friendly, seemed bothered. Room and bathroom were clean, but the room had a musty cigarette smell, the toilet didn't flush correctly, we had to move rooms, beds need upgrade matters and lamps were rusty.

upon walking into the hotel, it smelled horrible with smoke cigarette smoke I asked the gentleman behind the counter. Why does this hotel smell so bad of smoke and of course he did it smell it because he was a smoker I am not a smoker. I’m very sensitive to smoke. The luggage rack was falling apart. The rack on the top was missing a screw so you could not hang anything up. The whole thing was a mess. going into the room I thought this was a remodeled hotel. Well it’s very old and around the bathtub with black mold and it had a bad smell. I had to go to Walmart and buy some disinfectant spray and spray everything down and wipe everything down it just had a really bad feeling of smell and being dirty. There was a coat in the closet. There was someone’s body wash that had been used in the shower and the roll of toilet paper was almost out with one refill. The towels were very small. Just very old, did not enjoy it at all.
