We made this hotel our home base while exploring the amalfi coast. It is right across the Salerno train station which made it very convenient. The location of the hotel is also excellent -- 5 min walk to the ferries. 30 second walk to the downtown stretch of restaurants. Hotel is outdated but that's the charm. The elevator is small so you might need to take multiple trips with luggage. Room was good, no issues. Breakfast in the morning was really great and worth the time to enjoy before spending the day on the coast. Staff was very helpful with directions, recommendations, and checking in/out.

This was a great stay in the heart of Salerno. Quiet rooms with sound proof windows and great air conditioning. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, train station just outside the door, and the ferry port for Amalfi coast destinations is a 5 minute walk. The breakfast is great, staff are helpful, and the rooms clean and comfortable. We hope to return!

Loved our stay here. Location is really central, across from train station for easy transfer to or from Rome. It's surrounded by countless restaurants and shops. My daughter and I enjoyed walking and shopping. Restaurants prices are very reasonable, compare to Amalfi Coast towns. Staffs were very friendly. We asked for late check out and front desk granted our request gladly. We only needed one extra hour after regular check out time due to train schedule to Rome. Breakfast was superb with a lot of variety and drink. I definitely will stay here again. Thank you!!!

This property is conveniently located directly across from the train terminal and very close to the port. The room was clean and the breakfast was fantastic! Would highly recommend as a base for anyone exploring the beautiful Amalfi Coast.

Nous sommes restés trois nuits à l’hôtel plaza de Salerne. Le personnel était très accueillant et sympathique. Ils répondaient à nos questions et étaient très heureux de pouvoir nous aider. L’emplacement est de loin un élément clé. À pieds, il est à 1 min de la gare et à 5-6 minutes de la Piazza concordia où vous trouverez les traversiers pour les différentes villes de la côte. C’était vraiment apprécié!
