But overall the rooms are outdated, with a very strong smell of cleaning supplies. The aircondition is old and pointing directly at the bed, so we ended up with a bad throat infection the first day here (but 3rd week in Thailand). Talked to other guest who had experienced the same. "Beautiful resort overlooking the beach, and the room was spotless. Pros: Clean, spacious room Amazing shower with great views Decent breakfast buffet Transport companies were outside the door most hours Reliable laundry service Clean gym, nice Muay Thai class offering Nice spa Cons: DO NOT ORDER TAXI FROM THEM. They ordered a cab (when we had to make a boat) that arrived 20 minutes late, crammed us in with tons of people and the cab smelled of cigarettes, and they dropped our bag on the street. We could have gotten our own private transport that was outside the door for less money. When I pointed this out to the hotel, the response was “we will complain to the company, no worries.” Our complaint is with both the cab company and the hotel. We made a mistake trusting them. "
