"Our trip to this area was to be spent primarily in St. Tropez, and we were disappointed at having to stay outside of St. Tropez. However, it didn't take long for us to realize how lucky we were to have stayed in Ste-Maxime, and at Montfleuri specifically, after all. Aside from the fact that it took us 30-40 minutes to travel each way (15 KM), St. Tropez was beautiful but very congested and heavily populated. We ended up spending more time in Ramatouelle (Pampelonne beach) than St. Tropez itself....

"This hotel does not merit 4 stars simple on the basis of the accommodation. The room was so small it was even difficult to lay out 2 cases The shower head was broken.and the furniture left a lot to be desired. It was so close to the main road that sleeping was an ordeal. The only redeeming factor was the view."
