Wonderful location on this island, steps away from the seaside where strolling and relaxing are a must, especially during this time of the year when the sun is warm and the breeze is fresh. We witnessed sunset and moonrise at almost the same time.

Be informed, we wish we were!

Restaurant was fully booked on arrival, so we were told by the front desk they could book a taxi to take us to the marina which was 15 minutes away which has plenty of restaurants failed to mentioned the taxi would be €180 return, so be careful. The Sauna is a 2 person affair with a queue to use it. Room was average, shower screen leaking which formed a big pool on the floor, shower head partially blocked squirting water in all directions and the makeup/shaving mirror flopped around always facing the floor, so you had to hold with one hand. Arriving after 9.00am for breakfast meant missing out on some of the offerings as some were not replenished and 2 of the 3 coffee machines were out of order, not so good when 30 people are wanting coffee at the same time.

Le lieu est magnifique mais les prestations ne sont pas au niveau d'un 4 étoiles. L'espace Thalasso est petit, insuffisamment equipé, très fréquenté et peu reposant. Le rapport qualité prix est insatisfaisant.

Excellent but restrict spa to adults.

Lovely hotel, spa is fantastic, general hotel service is good and location pretty good. Only gripe is make the spa pool and spa areas adult only. Kids use it as a playground. This is fine and we love our children but maybe keep them restricted to the outside pool. More serene that way.

Chambre spacieuse et décoration très agréable. L'hôtel est bien situé avec une belle vue sur l'océan. La piscine extérieure est vraiment petite (4 à 5 m de large au maximum). Le petit déjeuner est hors de prix (27EUR par personne). Nous avons essayé le restaurant et la qualité était au rendez vous. Pour les services il est vraiment dommage de facturer la location de vélos à des tarifs 50% supérieur (19EUR pour un vélo simple par journée) au tarifs des vendeurs du village situé à 500m. L'impression générale est donc la suivante: Très bel hôtel mais malheureusement l'impression de passer pour des pigeons. Ce qui ne fera pas de nous des clients fidèles à cet établissement.

Hotel très bien situé en bords de plage. Chambre très confortable et bien équipée. Staff très aimable. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant lui-même, mais la restauration au bar est très pratique et parfaite pour un diner "snacking". En revanche, déception pour le rapport qualité-prix du petit-déjeuner qui ne vaut pas 26€ à mon avis. La piscine de la thalasso est correcte mais un peu petite pour un WE d'affluence (et de pluie!). Un très bon hotel quand même pour profiter de l'Ile de Ré.
