  • My dad's friend owns a really cool karting circuit in Pageas, a few kilometres from Chalus where I grew up in France. They are both hunters. I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, but a lot of people from that generation in rural France do like hunting, fishing, fetching mushrooms. There are woodlands all around the karting circuit. My dad and his friend have built some platforms in the trees, and from mid-October to mid-November they go there every morning to shoot migrating birds. Those ones are some sort of wood pigeons going from Eastern Europe / Russia to North Africa. I did my own shooting that morning... with my camera! The sunrise was spectacular with some nice pink colours and mist in the valley.

Séjour famille en août

Séjour en famille au mois d'août. Chambre quadruple (lit double et deux lits simples canapé) Accueil au top, pour une arrivée tardive nous avons été rappelé pour nous communiquer le digicode. Un peu loin de l'autoroute, mais le cadre est très joli ! Seul bémol, une climatisation portative qui nécessite de laisser la fenêtre ouverte. Malgré tout, je recommande pour le très beau cadre et l'accueil tout sourire de notre hôte.

Prima hotel op doorreis. Wat ouderwets en 's avonds bijvoorbeeld een drankje halen is er niet bij, het was uitgestorven en donker. Maar schoon, vriendelijke ontvangst, fijn bed en heerlijk ontbijt. Wel beperkte keuze en bijvoorbeeld geen gebakken eitje maar wat er was, was uitstekend! Tip is in de zomer wat minder dikke dekbedden neerleggen

Kamer 25 bg op hoek helaas gebrom naast ons soort tech ruimte. En voor ons veel te dik warm dekbed. Kamer erg kaal had er meer van verwacht, jammer. Ontbijtje te duur voor wat je kan kiezen, we hebben er aardig wat gedaan deze weken vandaar de beoordeling.

Hotel propre avec deco modernisée. Pas de clim dans la chambre or il faisit tres chaud avec une couette pas de drap et bruit de la route regulier pour une chambre côté route. Petit dej industriel. Pas de frais dommage. Du miel et confiture local aurait été bien. Salé reduit à du jambon et fromage industriel. Pas d oeuf. On sent que la prestation est réduite au minimum. Et on nous a cueilli avec un " vous auriez payé moins cher en reservant directement chez nous"... mais sans hotel.com nous n y aurions peut être pas été...
