"The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were lovely and was good value for money. The building is a bit tired and felt needed some updating. No complimentary tea of coffee in the room which we found disappointing. If they had tea and coffee I would stay there again. Small detail but would make a big difference to us. Coffee machine in foyer was out of order. Images on website shows modern decorated room but ours was a bit old fashioned and wood chip wallpaper. "

The hotel no longer has a restaurant but St Vaast has a number of good places to eat. breakfast in the hotel was very good The hotel itself is very traditional and well maintained. The garden area is particularly attractive"
