"Excellent hotel in the lovely town of Munster. The restaurant is closed on Sundays, when I was there, and there is only one other establishment open in the town that provides a very limited menu on Sundays."

"Stayed here overnight during our journey back home from Italy to Scotland. Lovely hotel, great location in the characterful town of Thann, good parking. Our room was very nice and had good views of the grounds. The bed and bathroom were also good and the level of fittings and fixtures in the room was better than average. We were delighted to discover that we were staying in the same room as occupied by General De Gaulle in 1945! Our dinner in the restaurant was very good and the local wine excellent, however a bit on the expensive side. There is also a very nice resident dog! Breakfast was good with some spectacular pastries but we were a little disappointed not to be served with real coffee but with the usual dispensed from the ubiquitous coffee machine!"

Some staff were friendly, others not so much. We didn't eat so unable to comment on the food. The pool is very small and crowded with just 3 people in it. The pool room is claustrophobic and way to warm to sit in. Signage instructed guests not to open the door so not pleasant to use."
