「Lovely old house, very comfy with nice sized rooms, the home cooked food I had on my first night was excellent. Nice hosts who attend to what's needed but also leave you be so you feel you have privacy and solitude. Nice location for getting into Le Dorat. 」

Nous avons été surpris de constater que le plancher de notre chambre était en pente: bâtiment très ancien; l'isolation phonique avec la chambre mitoyenne laisse à désirer, mais n'est pas génant si les 2 pièces sont occupées par la même famille (c'était notre cas). Anne et Didier font de leur mieux pour réussir ce projet, sont pleins de courage, et méritent notre encouragement. 」

First of all, Montmorillon is a charming little gem in the southeastern part of Vienne, and is perfect for an overnight excursion or as a stopping point when traveling across France … and La Bicyclette Bleue is the perfect place to stay. It is located just minutes on foot from the center of Montmorillon and everything you want to see and do is easily accessible. The owners are also just lovely people, who know how to make you feel welcome and give you your space...

Very adept at recommending local places of interest to visit nearby, and even gave me a personal tour of the property's wooded area Oh, and Pierre speaks a fantastic English as well as his native French. One small issue with the TV upon arrival that was easily resolved.」
