"The owner here, Branco, is a great guy and very helpful. The only problem is that the property is about a mile or so from the Hvar Old Town so you either have to rent a car or walk the whole distance, which isn't terribly safe. The hotel has two small swimming pools but nothing was entirely open when I stayed there in late April. Apparently, things really heat up during the summer where I imagine there are more things to do."

"Unser Mobilehome war sehr komfortabel, sauber und gepflegt. Der Empfang war herzlich und man hat sich sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Campingplatz ist sehr überschaubar und daher auch extrem ruhig. Für seine Kinder braucht man ein gutes selbstorgnaisiertes Programm. Die Wasserhüpfburg kostet 7€ für eine halbe Stunde. Finde ich persönlich überzogen und hat uns vom Gebrauch abgehalten. "Our stay at Pharos was perfect! It was exactly what we hoped for during our stay in Hvar. The highlights included the breakfast buffet, which was large and full of delicious options, the pool and pool bar, and the proximity to town and beaches nearby. a few things to keep in mind, to reach the hotel by foot you will be walking uphill - a very easy walk uphill in our opinion but an uphill nonetheless, they do offer baggage pickup and drop off at the Hvar ferry port if you are coming in/ out on one of the public scheduled ferries! Very helpful for us with heavy backpacks. Another thing to note is that because it is at the top of a hill, it gets a little windier there than by the beach. So if it is hot by the beach, we found that the sun was still really warm by the pool but the wind cooled you down. We were travelling right before peak season so we can imagine it being perfect in the summer!"
