Sun Beach Hôtel
10/10 Excellent
"Really great budget hotel just a couple minutes away from Ajaccio city center. Amazing balcony sea views from your room, very big pool and good breakfast. A bit of an older building but has a cute charm with very friendly and accommodating staff. Recommend staying here since it’s just a 10-15 minute drive from city center but also a short drive from amazing beaches on the coast. Only thing is cleanliness could be better as they don’t check all the drawers when guests are checking out as we found a moldy Spar food in one of the drawers about two days into our stay that was left from the previous guests before."
"We enjoyed staying here, and were particularly happy about the good location and gorgeous rooftop terrace, offering a great view of Ajaccio. We ate breakfast on the terrace in the morning, relaxed on the terrace during daytime while ordering refreshments, and ate a good dinner there one of the evenings. Our room was quite small, but the beds were good. There was also a nice gym."

There were virtually no Corsican specialties, only two kinds of industrial cheese, very limited fresh fruit, and melons that were so hard they were practically inedible. Throughout breakfast, essential items such as milk, bread, cutlery, cups, or glasses repe"
"Room was simple and clean. Nice pool (swim with goggles!). My only complaint was the WiFi which, on the day I stayed, was too slow to do anything useful with. Heads-up that there are multiple places in Ajaccio with "Castel Vecchio" as the name. Make sure to use the correct address when finding this hotel."
"This hotel is a 10 minute bus ride from town. Also they held a very large deposit and told me to check back a couple days later to be sure the amount was released and never responded to my comms.
The apt in the Residence was lovely though."
