Poor quality and not value for money

The room and bathroom was not at all as advertised on the pictures for a standard twin room. It smelled, needs a lot of maintenance, broken door handle, broken ceiling board, stained cupboards. There were empty beer bottles and cans lying around in the passage and the gardens were unattended. We complained and they moved us to a family room which was better, but there were no towels or toilet paper. We requested this and it never arrived. We used our own towels and took toilet paper from the public bathroom.

The place is interesting, the room was not good, falling ceiling, no DSTV, no fridge, but mentioned on advert. The food was very nice. The mattress was not comfortable

Safari Lodge Hotel - review - overrated for price

The establishment's condition does not match its price & in my opinion, overrated. in the room, wash basin needs replacement (cracked and paint peeling off). The service at breakfast (actually lack of it) was atrocious. The food was not up to scratch (burnt bacon, food warmers not being attended to resulting in cold food, toaster either under-toasting or burning the toast). Attitude of the staff, well....

Pleasant stay

My stay was pleasant with a comfortable bed, clean room & exellent food from both breakfast & dinner. Staff very friendly & helpful attend to a quiry immediately. Have surely recommended you to my friends & family. The only problem was when people were coming back from wherever making noise & trying to.open our door thinking that its their room & that made us feel unsafe.

Sono rimasto favorevolmente colpito da questa struttura in cui ho alloggiato. Rimane fuori dal caos cittadino, immersa nel verde, con una piscina per grandi e per piccini. Tutte le persone sono particolarmente disponibili, in particolar modo l'animatore del resort che quotidianamente ci dava il buongiorno con molto calore Le stanze sono spaziose e con pulizie giornaliere. Non vi è alcun problema di sicurezza. La colazione a buffet è varia e cambia di giorno in giorno.

Dissapointing state of the property

I got a shock on how the property looked as compared to what i saw when i booked. Shower door not working properly. The bath tub in a bad bad state in another room, water dripping the whole time from the tap. The beds are not comfortable. Just totally dissapointed.

We had a great experience at the hotel. The kids loved the pool. The complaint we had was dealt with as a matter of urgency. The staff was very friendly and patient.

Need a lot of work

The hotel lacks adequate signage, the shower heads are too low, can't fit your head in there, the showers are also very small, you are confined to one position only, the rest of the shower, the TV and it's satelite channels were not clear, not sufficient for a hotel bouquet. It's really just adequate for one night stopover. No wi-fi signal, even though they said that wi-fi was available.

Deprive my kids of breakfast

It was good , check inn was good but check out wasn’t the best I asked the gentleman at reception to prepare breakfast for my boys as we had to leave very early and he told me the staff was busy with preparations for the main breakfast and won’t be able to assist ..this was unexceptable since these are just kids and it would take literally a few minutes . We all know we must order the night before but it was an emergency.

We booked double bed and we received two beds. Tge curtains werent that clean. There was no sloke we saw on the pics of the hotel. Check in was dramatic- i was told i didnt pay when i did. The room was nicely located, close to the pool. The breakfast was great except rhe juice. There was music which created a vibey atmosphere

The air condition of room I stayed in ( room206) was not working, I sweat the whole night, I called to report and I was told the electrician will come to help me but that never happened meaning the electrician did not come, it was not a good stay for me.

Old lady has seen better days

While the room was clean and the AC worked,it is run down and poorly maintained. Door lock often did not stay locked. Shower rail hanging on by a thread. Forgot to replenish toilet paper. Front office staff however very helpful especially when my wife had a fall and needed a wheel chair, they were helpful.

It was a relaxed environment. Bar fridge serves as a cooler box, you might consider changing one at 153. Breakfast time was chaotic and for someone who doesn't eat pork, I didn't have options excepts eggs or continental breakfast. Dinner was great
