Best place to stay when in that area

It was our second time staying there and will for sure stay again in the future. The check-in is always smooth and the owner is very understanding and friendly. For us, it is that home-away from home feeling that we love.

Great little getaway!

I recently stayed at this beautiful house that was impeccably clean and featured a stunning master suite. The area was serene and picturesque, perfect for relaxation. However, it’s quite far from Ottawa, so keep that in mind if you plan to explore the city. Overall, I highly recommend this property for a tranquil getaway, and I would definitely return!

If your looking for a decent place to stay!

The stay was lovely, friendly owner, even offered a ride to her father’s baseball game. Very clean and quiet neighbourhood as well. Kid friendly!

Do not miss this bed & stay. This property was so comfortable. First off, the property is in a very quiet residential are, you basically won't hear a peep after 7 in the evening. The house is immaculately clean, the room is very private with an electronic lock on all doors, so it is very safe. The property is completely stocked with full complete kitchen, dishes, everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property especially if you had a situation like family from out-of-town or something. You could potentially rent the entire house to yourself. The back yard also backs onto a large park with walking paths that I noticed local neighbours walking their dogs and such. Just a very nice property in all aspects.

Furst, it wasn't mentioned on website that an additional deposit would be required at check-in. It was returned at checkout. Second, there wasn't any type of entertainment at the property. It was very quiet, but decent sleep. Third, in the town of Russell most dining close at 9pm. Nearest dining would be Ottawa, drive back is unlit country roads.

So far so good! I arrived after the cut off time for check in, but Moazzam accommodated me regardless. He’s very helpful and polite, and I liked him immediately. A true gentleman and excellent host!

Good: The Signature room we stayed was very spacious with ensuite full bathroom. The house is brand new and very clean. Sharing the house with several guests was a little awkward but each room has locks and sound proof was pretty good. King size bed was very comfortable. Host was responsive and helpful. Close to Ottawa and Gatineau park. Compared to similar hotel rooms, the value was exceptional. Caveat: The house is in new residential development. There is a beautiful shared kitchen and dining area but since this house is rented out to several guests, it was tricky to cook proper meals. If you plan to eat out or take out, that would work perfectly. Overall: We thought Signature room could have chairs and a little table since it has more than enough space but otherwise our stay was comfortable, and we were happy we found this place. We think it is a better alternative (and better deal!) to hotels and motels.

The guy will not put the heater up. It’s far away from everywhere limited transportation it’s in the middle of nowhere. The guy will give you a blanket instead of putting the heat up and he’s very cheap and asked for $100 deposit and didn’t wanna give it until I insisted.
