3.5 hour delay on the check-in, and the room is dirty. Balcony is unsafe. The glass wall is low, unsteady and filthy. There’s no way this is up to code. I went out onto the river deck seating just now by the pool and bar area and the outdoor light exploded on top of my head! For $600 a night, I got a grumpy motel room with some linoleum flooring. I fell into the Labor Day tourist trap.

Sehr gutes Team, sehr bemüht. Hotel leider etwas alt und renovierungsbedürftig, ein paar Fliegengitter am Fenster wären wichtig. Ansonsten: perfekte Lage zum Stand wie zum Achterwasser; Bootsanleger für Restaurantgäste. Am Wochenende war täglich Live-Musik. Küche zwar einfach, aber schmackhaft. Frühstück ebenfalls gut.

Nice hotel with the pool and cafe/bar. Right near the beach. We had a premium room with ocean view. Clean and almost empty beach. Friendly staff at the front desk and in the cafe. Weak and unsteady internet signal is a minus in 21st century and the pool water was pretty cold. Cafe food and live music were nice, but cafe kitchen closed down due to some plumbing mishap in our second day. Generally the hotel is overpriced for the level of amenities/services provided.

The staff was amazing. They were very helpful and kind. We were in a room beside the pool and it could use some updates in the bathroom. Also, there was not a coffee machine in the room. Pool was great. Having a restaurant on site was super convenient. However, there were no snacks available. No vending machines or other ways to purchase snacks. Overall, would definitely stay again! The location is perfect!

The service and worker at both the front desk and the restaurant on the property were very kind and made me and my family feel very welcomed. The rooms were clean, spacious and gave us a view of the beach, etc.

A great place to chill. Tons of ways to relax weather it’s watching the boats on the river, dipping in the pool, or lying on the beach. The cafe/bar was very convenient and there are many restaurants a quick ride will get you to. Staff was amazing. The only downside was the room we were in was in an older section and we had to worry about ants. We quickly disposed or refrigerated everything and the ants were no longer a problem.

My partner and I have stayed here in on six previous occasions over three years. Finally the Beachwalk hotel has made some necessary improvements in terms of staff service and providing complimentary coffee, cookies, beach towels, chairs, etc. The seasonal outdoor tiki bar restaurant also conveniently located. They need to serve a full breakfast. You book this hotel for the private beach that is a walk across Ocean Avenue, but you pay a premium for the rooms with the balcony and ocean view - this is the room that we have been getting over the years. These rooms, however need upkeeping - repairs of ceiling stains and damaged walls. Also the rooms need a full length mirror.
