The family room was very nice and spacious but the bed made noise every time you moved on it. All in all, 4 out of 5. Dinner and breakfast were very good.

Nettes in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel

Ganz nett,sehr in die Jahre gekommen,das Frühstück war eher mittelmäßig,viel zu wenig Platz sobald das drei vier Personen da standen war anstehen auf engsten Raum angesagt. Das Zimmer sehr klein,ohne großen Komfort,zwar ein Safe im Zimmer aber der ist so klein da passt grad mal der Geldbeutel rein 😩,nicht mehr zeitgemäß da jeder heute ein Laptop dabei hat

Ein sehr gut geführtes Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Unser 3 Bett Zimmer war neu renoviert. Das Essen im Restaurant war auch sehr gut. Da wir nur 1 Nacht auf der Durchreise dort waren, hat man uns ein Lunch Paket statt Frühstück eingepackt. Sehr zuvorkommend! Würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten !

Familien geführtes Hotel, nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr leckere Küche. Haben das Hotel als Zwischenstopp nach Italien gewählt und alles richtig gemacht. Ruhpolding ist eine sehr schöne Stadt mit vielen Freizeitmöglichkeiten vor allem für Familien! Kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

not a hotel I'd ever go back to

The hotel was disappointing for our trip - my advance message requesting a rollaway bed wasn't responded to, leading to extra hassle when we got there, which of course could so easily have been avoided, which would have been nice when on a long road trip. Main person on desk didn't speak English; I was told 'Ich spreche Deutsch.' Hadn't expected this from a front facing staff member in the hotel industry, accessed from a world-wide website, so you couldn't help but feel it was a local hotel for local people... My school German had to suffice. Next disappointment was going down for dinner to be told the kitchen was closed. This could have been communicated in advance, perhaps at check-in, even with a written notice, if English couldn't be used. Worse, though, was when we were told to go 'outside' for food but weren't told names of open restaurants or given a map or directions (again, this all could have been done through pen and paper, but no efforts made.) So we ended up wandering around an unfamiliar town, getting turned away frequently from places which were just serving drinks. Eventually one of these establishments gave us the name of an open restaurant, along with limited instructions to get there. It still took us a while. Shame our hotel didn't give us a map, or some information. Just felt like we were badly treated, and it didn't feel good and wished I'd not given them my custom. In the hotel's favour, the rollaway bed was made up quickly enough, which I appreciated.
