「Property was quite dirty. I had to was all of the cutlery. There were grease smears on the cooker hob. The oven trays and grill were filthy. Did not use because of this. I did not receive the wifi information until 5 days into my stay. This was after leaving messages on owners voicemail. They never got back to me at all. Had to go through a customer complaints procedure with Sykes cottages to get the wifi details. No apology, just an email with a picture of the router (which wasn’t in the flat)....

「Great location, the room I was given was excellent and had all amenities necessary, The Staff were really helpful and friendly and made you feel at ease at all times😁 The Food was incredible, a really high quality and very tasty 😋😋 I would be eating there very regularly if I didn't live so far away, Thank you 👍👍」

「I will never stay at a one of these properties again. The room was fine but the staff at reception was rude and unhelpful. It was booked prepaid with Hotels.com to which they said it was not prepaid even after showing the receipt to her. We chose to have diner there as we were tired. At least 1/3 of the tables were covered in dirty dishes. We eventually were able to flag a server down to give our order for food and drinks. Food arrived which was actually well done but never got our drinks even...

「Our stays at the Brockton are always great. The breakfast is lovely, sets you up for the day. Nothing is too much trouble for Phil or his wife. Would highly recommend you stay 😊」

「Bathroom really small hand basin no cold water bed was lumpy sofo was broken narrow stairwell thought i had asked for easy access no where to sit outside awkward access into property my girlfriend struggled to get in and struggled upstairs and water pipes running across top of a plug socket」
