Short walk to Oostplein tram stop. There is a metro stop nearby too. Room was comfortable, if a little dark, even after getting a lightbulb for light over desk area. Fridge was useful Decent shower Unusual to have separate toilet to shower & sink area. Very tasty hot breakfast

Great hotel, loved the penthouse with a brilliant view from the balcony. Not as central as some others but tram/metro stop just round the corner so easy to get around.

Good but no elevator

Elevator was broken so they offered free breakfast which I only used 1 of 3 mornings. I was able to work comfortably from the hotel and the gym was decent with free weights.

Great hotel

Really enjoyed our stay. Fantastic Location- 5 mins from a tram stop & a tube station and only a 15 min walk to the Markthal (food court) and has a Lidl underneath the hotel. Great bars and restaurants nearby as well. We stayed on the 1st floor - room was spacious with a great balcony and very clean. Breakfast was good value as well. Bar & restaurant looked great but restaurant was fully booked so never got to experience it. Great vibe to the hotel with great decor & will definitely revisit when next in your great city.

Great stay

We loved the hotel. It’s beautiful and we liked that they kept the industrial look from the printing press. The common areas were very nice and cozy. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday in the bar and the barman couldn’t have been nicer. He even gave us a birthday flare for the cake. Great location too

A large room which was stylishly furnished in a retro style! Well equipped with coffee machine and a fridge. Aircon wasn’t particularly effective but the huge windows opened so it wasn’t a major problem. Some minor maintenance is required (eg curtains detached from rail at the edge), but overall a good experience

The design of the hotel is beautiful. The receptionists and bartender were all kind. The hotel room itself was beautiful, clean with a wonderful view however, there was a night where we experienced the elevator not working, no one on site and had to force the doors open to be able to enter our rooms. The internet was also not working so we were scared we’d be locked out of our hotel. When we notified the staff the next day they gave us free breakfast for 2 days. Honestly, I would have appreciated that night refunded because I had never experienced something like this with a hotel before and questioned where we’d sleep that night had we not been able to open the door. On our last day, a particular lady working in the buffet was very rude and disrespectful to multiple people including myself. Beautiful place, just had a terrible experience with the elevator and lady at the buffet. Besides that, everything was wonderful.

Very friendly staff also very precise . Checked the payment status and told us we payed to much money and refunded. The room was lovely, the lobby was great. Everything well kept and looked after. Only downside: the drain in our bathroom smelled pretty bad on our first day (was solved by the bext morning) and the loading dock was directly below our window which woke us quite early both mornings.

Quirky property with lovely big room ...but noisy at night. Our stay was slightly by the the fact that the lift was out of order... My travel companion found the 60 steps every time we left or returned to our room, exhausting. Staff were, on the whole, helpful. This hotel is ideally located near to a metro station and within walking distance of key sites (the cube houses and market hall). It was nice to have a coffee machine in the room .. but I was disappointed that decaf was not an option. Breakfast was nice. A limited, but tasty, choice of hot options - the bread selection was lovely. It set us up well for each day.

I visited Rotterdam for two nights with my family. The Slaak was a perfect choice for us; it was very convenient regarding location, room size and other services. My daughter had enough space to play around the room. The staff were accommodating and supportive. Breakfast was also good quality and variant, allowing the hotel guests to enjoy their favourite type of breakfast.

I loved the room. It’s was very clean and I am picky. I had room 214. It slept 3 people with a large balcony. We drank at the bar several times and that went perfect. The breakfast buffet is highly recommended. They have everything one could possibly want.

Staff was super friendly. Room was quite nice. The water closest with the toilet was a touch small. Not a huge concern but it youre over 6 feet tall it might be uncomfortable. This hotel also had the best gym I've seen in any hotel Ive stayed at personally. The location was really good, you can get to most of the best bits of Rotterdam walking from here.
